This life is a buffet of choices. There will be things you like and things you dislike. Your experience will be determined by which of those you focus on.
I give up trying. Not in a defeatist “there’s no point anyways” kind of way. But in an empowered “I know that everything is always working out for me anyway” kind of way.
I'm in this place right now where I'm no longer trying to get anything, I am just completely open to whatever life sends me. I know it will be for the best.
After 7 years of manifesting, I've realized that you are not creating your reality with your mind. You are co-creating it with your higher self/source/god.
Life sends you something. You respond to it. Then it responds to you and the cycle continues. Its a conversation.
Just focus on being happy and let whatever comes into your life come. Once you learn how to be happy no matter what is going on outside of you, manifesting your desires will be easier than breathing.
The thing about law of assumption is that you are still in a chasing energy. Now instead of using action to force outcomes, you are just using your thoughts instead.
It seems like more work than "just affirm" but to me this process feels way better than just affirm because
a) I stop feeling sad about the thing and go back to enjoying my life
b) I get the thing that I want in the more effortless, enjoyable way imaginable
I don't believe in controlling life from my limited persepective.
If I'm gonna persist in anything, its the idea that life is always working out for me.
I'm not saying that affirming and persisting don't work, I'm just saying that its tiring constantly resisting life.
My method is:
- fully accepting whatever is happening in this present moment
- differentiating between what is actually happening vs the thoughts in my mind
- Releasing resistance by changing my thoughts about the situation and doing physical techniques like breathwork
