The #EDFamily language board is up, displaying languages spoken by staff on shift. To improve communication between patients and staff, allowing for quick translation and a better patient experience. #EDFamily#PuttingPatientsFirst
In terms of SLT input, communication and dysphagia input was split. Dysphagia was felt to be critical irrespective of the risk level for the service user. Communication was prioritised based on clinical need/risk.
