A little insight into one of Stormzy’s favourite pastimes… 🥹📺

It doesn’t matter what we’re watching Stormzy is always front and centre, completely glued to the screen, with a toy a hand just incase things get really exciting. 🤣

Right now, farmyard animals are his absolute favourite (second only to ducks, of course! 🦆). He also loves Paw Patrol and pretty much any cartoon. When it’s time to wind down, relaxing fish tank videos with calming background music are perfect for nap time. 😴

He’s just as invested when we’re watching human TV too… the only thing he isn’t so sure about is when another dog appears on screen. That’s his cue to puff up his hair, bark, and sprint a few laps around the living room. 🤣🐶

These four beautiful cats are in desperate need of a home. They lived with their daddy for all 8 years of their lives until sadly, he passed from cancer. Now they are all alone in the house. The cats grew up only knowing one human, so they will be shy with new people. They are 100% litterbox trained, and they are already spayed, neutered, and vaccinated.
Fluffy is the medium-hair gray kitty, Maxine is the dilute tortie, Whitepatch is the short-hair black kitty with a white patch, and Snowflake is the medium-hair black beauty, born with enophthalmos in her left her eye so it appears "sunken". Ideally all 4 cats could be rehomed together, home would be for all 4 cats, but Whitepatch and Fluffy are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. The adoption fees will be covered for all four of these cats, so please open your heart and your home if you can find a way to help them. Okay but this is officially the best hiring story ever. A company in Mexico rescued an orange stray cat and decided not only to keep him… but to hire him.

They named him Engineer Miauricio and gave him the title of Emotional Support Director. His responsibilities include smiling at coworkers, gently meowing, and walking around the office making everyone’s day better.

Adopted a depressed cat
Today my husband and I adopted this sweet older kitty (8 yo). We saw the shelter’s post about her - a surrender from someone who owned her since a kitten. She’s been there almost a month and has spent the entire time balled up in the corner with her eyes shut. Our senior kitty (16) passed away last summer and we decided it was time to get another “senior.”
She got all her testing at the shelter and is in great health, except emotionally.
We set her up in her own room and she is currently hiding under a dresser! I am hopeful for her
Name ideas? And maybe calming treat suggestions? I’ve used feliway in the past and did not find it extremely effective. Thanks all!

Amsterdam is moving ahead with a gentle but meaningful safety plan along its famous canals. City leaders have approved funding to install small #escapesteps that help #animals climb out if they fall into the #water. Officials say the idea gained attention after animal groups raised concerns about repeated #catdrownings reported across several canal areas during the past year.

According to local reports, at least nineteen cats were confirmed drowned in #Amsterdamwaterways in 2025. #Animalwelfaregroups pushed for a solution that would not disturb the historic look of the canals. City planners listened and designed slim metal steps placed at key danger spots where animals struggle most to escape. These steps will be low profile and blend into the canal walls.

The city has set aside up to one hundred thousand euros for the project and plans to install the steps gradually. Officials say the goal is prevention rather than reaction. By working with local animal groups, Amsterdam hopes fewer pets and wildlife will be lost to the canals. Could this simple idea inspire other canal cities to follow?
