A passenger seated directly in front of me on my @united flight attempted to open the aircraft exit door mid flight & had to be physically restrained. The flight was emergency diverted to DC & replacement flight was canceled
After all that United wants to reimburse me $18.71…
I try not to post unless I feel I can add to the conversation, and lately I don’t feel like I have much to offer
But I’ll say this: the Minnesotans protesting and legally observing are patriots
They’re putting their lives on the line for each other: for the right to live peacefully, unbothered by the federal government. Suburban streets are swarming with unidentified, trigger-happy masked men grabbing and brutalizing anyone they can reach, and Minnesota isn't cowering
I’m proud that they’re my countrymen. I’m praying for them, donating to them, and cheering them on; my heart aches to see them bearing the weight of this administration’s desire to break the Americans who resist their tyranny
@markfersh@GadSaad This is a community leader encouraging an underrepresented group to engage in voting, education, public service. If a pastor said “we need more Christians in office,” no one would blink. Wanting a seat at the table isn’t a takeover. Framing it that way? Your racism is showing
Parents will want to protect their kids so much and then wonder why they grow up with zero independence or confidence in themselves lol keeping your kid in a bubble out of fear only hurts them in the long run
My daughter is 8, she wants to sleep over at her friends. We know the parents well, but I'm not on board with sleepovers quite yet, maybe not ever.
What's everyone's take on kid sleepovers?
My dad told me yesterday his eye was bothering him so I decided to buy eye drops and surprise him for Father’s Day. Woke up at 6am this morning to drive 2hrs to his house. Got there and he wasn’t home. Called him. He was at the store buying eye drops lol sigh
