Despite Mayor Zohran Mamdani's rent freeze on nearly 1 million rent-stabilized apartments, New York City's housing crisis continues to worsen.
New data shows the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment hit a record $5,408/month in Manhattan and $4,297/month in Brooklyn in June, while median rents in both boroughs rose roughly 8% year-over-year.
At the same time, around 57,000 rent-stabilized apartments sat vacant in 2025. Many landlords cannot afford the renovations needed to bring them back onto the market under frozen rents, worsening the city's housing shortage.
Meanwhile, NYC Comptroller Mark Levine warned the affordability crisis has reached "DefCon 1" and called for major housing reforms.
I love how I don’t even have to see this obnoxious bitch to know she’s black and fat🙄
Another entitled Sharqueisha films herself harassing a white couple as they deplane.
“If you touch me I’m finna whup you ass” she tells the white chick when she asks what her problem is 🦧
Imagine this: you get paid by our tax dollars and you don’t even show up to do your job when it involves our tax dollars being stolen.
Wtf are these people doing in office if they don’t even care about our money being stolen and wasted? They are simply working against us.
CNN claimed that they didn’t show President Trump’s press release because he “makes things up”..
Mind you, CNN constantly told people to get the COVID vaccine even though it was unsafe and ineffective.
The mainstream media is the enemy of the people.

NEW: Lifeguards fight to subdue a half-naked man wanted on a felony warrant who tried to run away from the cops by swimming into the ocean.
The Los Angeles Police Department officers were in a foot chase with a suspect along the Pacific Coast Highway when he ran onto the beach, past the lifeguard stand, and into the water.
The man was treading water a couple hundred yards off Will Rogers State Beach for about an hour and a half while officers waited on shore.
LAPD and the lifeguards sent boats out into the water as they tried to safely apprehend the suspect.
Lifeguards paddled out on surfboards and eventually grabbed the suspect in the water, threw flotation devices on him, and dragged him onto a boat.
