HURRICANE HUNTERS FINDING SUB 900MB PRESSURE.. NEARING THE STRONGEST GULF OF MEXICO HURRICANE RECORD!!

Another key thing I see is the hurricane hunters reporting an eye wall of C4 .. Only 4 N miles around!! That is VERY tiny. An ERC should happen in the next few hours.

I am not going to write a doom and gloom tweet saying I’m getting concerned for any particular city on the Florida Gulf Coast, at least not yet.

But I will say right now, this hurricane is built different and will approach to Florida coast from a pretty unusual direction with a giant fetch of water coming with it.

If the current intensity trends verify with Milton making an attempted run to Cat 5 at some point in the next 48-72hrs, and then weakening as it approach’s landfall, along the coast the water impacts will not vary too much. If anything remotely close to this verifies, there will be widespread catastrophic to extreme water impacts somewhere along the Florida Gulf Coast.

That is why everyone must take this storm seriously and if you live in an evacuation zone you should be prepared to leave at a moments notice. Stay tuned to local officials for the latest evacuation information.

This is honestly one of the most concerning hurricanes/forecasys I can remember going back to maybe the 2005 season.
