Catch is a drill, not a "warm up." The teams that play better catch are often the teams that play cleaner baseball. Stop rushing through it. Have a purpose. Those that get "bored" during catch are those that don't understand the importance of it and aren't mentally engaged during it.
Play catch with a purpose!
Everything starts from the ground up. π₯
So pretty how inside big toe pressure is made. How he drives the knee to get to the inside toe that creates the shirt twist from front hip to underneath the back arm pit (the stretch).
With rotation of the lower half leading the way will pull the top half to initiate the upper torso around happens. Everything here on out is done by the rear leg or hip. Stay in the rear leg longer to allow the back knee to pull down the lat that sets the turn to tilt.
π how the front arm hinges upward to clear space to allow the backside to work completely under front arm. If you don't work under front half, its a sign you're pulling off & around. The turn of the back knee down is what turns the torso inside ball path.
"Thank you to all my Raider Ladies. Despite injuries, a teammate leaving, and pitching challenges, you pushed through and played your best when it mattered most. I am forever grateful and will cherish these memories."
After much consideration and lots of conversation, I have decided to enter the transfer portal with 3 years left of eligibility. Thank you Binghamton softball for this opportunity and the experience! I am excited to see what my future holds in this next chapter!! @SoftballPortal
Our team traveled out to Rochester to play a great @schroedersball program. It was a good learning experience for our young team. Here are some highlights from behind the plate today. Blocks to throw out at second are my favorite!! @FM_Hornets_SB@16uChaosNat@PlayersOnlyESPN
