i just read the article about the start of new generation for kpop and idk why but '5th generation idols' sounds weird to me. like the breakthrough for 4th gen is yet to happen and a lot of 3rd gen groups are still active. i feel like the shifting of gen is way too early.
talking about consistency? border : day one is still charting on oricon albums charts even after 1 year of release. all of their albums from their debut to their latest one are still charting in japan. billboard is not the only chart in the industry.
