#TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri is an ENTERTAINING ROM-COM. Boasts an entertaining first half and an emotional second half. #KartikAaryan and #AnanyaPanday share a brilliant banter with each other, carrying the film with their familiar beats.

The screenplay is enjoyable which entertains you most of the time. #SameerVidwans stamps all across the family-emotional scenes.

The film offers sincerity; the writing of the film boasts an entertaining watch for everyone. This one is indeed an entertaining feel-good rom com which has all the flavors – comedy, drama, emotions, romance, etc.

#KartikAaryan delivers a really cool performance, #AnanyaPanday is very effective on screen, #JackieShroff is amazing.

The scenes shot in Croatia are superb. The title track is so good to hear and peppy. A typical Dharma Productions film.

The cinematography is neat and catchy, the background score is enjoyable, #VishalShekhar are good with the music.

A good rom com watch for you this Christmas. Very well blended with old school romance.

Old-school romance spiced up with today’s sensibilities

Christmas is the time when we crave “content” that feels like a warm blanket in winter, and this film makes you feel exactly that.

The beauty of TMMTMTTM lies in the fact that it isn’t trying to reinvent love. It simply reminds you why simple, sincere love stories still work, especially when you’re already in that holiday mood.

The first half of the film is set in Croatia. It is more fun, with beautiful landscapes and songs that look picture-perfect on screen. The second half is the real chef’s kiss. Director Sameer Vidwans clearly has a knack for romantic films.

Kartik Aaryan is the heartbeat here. The story unfolds through the perspective of his character Ray and shows his transition from a fun, carefree modern-day boy to a responsible being.

I’m totally in awe of Ananya Panday. She looks absolutely gorgeous in every frame. More importantly, she handles some very intense emotions with such subtlety on screen. She has truly worked on the constructive feedback the internet has given her over the years.

By the time the film reaches the interval, you’ll be rooting for Ray and Rumi. You’ll be shipping them. The chemistry is that good.

Vishal and Sheykhar with rom-coms are a perfect match. I’ve been saying this: “Hum Dono” is the best song in the album, and you’ll agree with me when you watch it on the big screen. There is also a surprise element from #KaranJohar's Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Final word: This is a warm, festive-season watch. A sincere rom-com entertainer you can enjoy with your family.

#TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri arrives as a wholesome, big-screen romantic entertainer at a time when Bollywood rom-coms are slowly finding their footing again. Directed by #SameerSanjayVidwans, the film promises warmth, emotions, humour, and nostalgia — all anchored by a supremely confident leading man in #KartikAaryan.

He looks completely at ease in the romantic space — charming, vulnerable, playful, and emotionally expressive. It is a role designed to maximise his strengths: effortless dialogue delivery, strong comic timing, and an ability to make emotional moments feel natural rather than melodramatic. Kartik’s growth as a leading man is evident, and this film seems to bank on that maturity.

#AnanyaPanday pairs beautifully with Kartik, and their chemistry comes through effortlessly. The romance feels natural, easy-going, and enjoyable to watch. The supporting cast does its job well, with #NeenaGupta and #JackieShroff, fits well into the film’s world.

Music is one of the film’s strongest pillars. With #VishalShekhar and #HiteshSonik at the helm, the album feels soulful and varied. Tracks like #HumDono are woven into the narrative rather than acting as distractions — a big plus for a romantic film. Visually, the film looks great, colourful, and designed for theatrical viewing.

Movie review - #TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri

An entertainer that surprises beyond the core romcom plot

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The romcom element was always there, as the title suggested. You did expect strong emotional elements too between #KartikAaryan and #AnanyaPanday. However it’s the last act of the film which turns out to be an absolute surprise, and a pleasant one at that. More so since you didn’t see that coming.

It’s the family angle which makes the film so different as it gets into a reverse DDLJ mode, as you would see in there. #JackieShroff and #NeenaGupta are so endearing here, and especially the scene between former and Kartik stands out in a big way.

In fact Kartik goes on to show yet again that he is amongst the most reliable and eye pleasing young actors around. He is in complete form here, be it romance, humour or drama. Ananya looks quite beautiful and delivers an able performance. She is convincing as a young woman who takes her stand. Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta deliver heartwarming performances.

#SameerVidwans keeps the proceedings easy with #TMMTMTTM and while he keeps the first half decent to good, he adds a lot more weight to the second half, especially the last 20-25 minutes which are the highlight.

With word of mouth doing the talking, and the holiday period going in its favour, the film should find enhanced footfalls with every passing day.
