HAN became world famous as the Rapper, Vocalist and Producer of the chart-topping, history-making, top-selling Pop Group Stray Kids! He's a core member of Stray Kids and a key member of their production subunit 3RACHA with Bang Chan and Changbin. HAN is named the Ace of the 4th Generation, because he doesn’t stay in one lane! His spitfire rap is ranked among the fastest in Korea and has a rare blend of technical skill, emotional resonance, and creative control! He's also called "musical chameleon", "instinctual lyricist" and "a hidden gem" who possesses "the charms of a rock star", excelling not only in rapping, but also in vocals, high notes, lyricism, and performance! His ability to write, produce, and perform his own verses makes him so unique! He's the youngest K-pop idol to earn full KOMCA membership at 22 (Feb 2023), and has now over 200+ registered credits, ranking 3rd among 4th-gen idols! Fans and critics including Rolling Stone UK, in their September 2024 issue, have praised his songwriting and ability to balance intensity with vulnerability, making his performances memorable on tracks and stages alike. His contributions to Stray Kids’ discography and 3RACHA’s pre-debut SoundCloud EPs (J/2017) highlight a rapper who’s both a craftsman and a storyteller. HAN is a prolific lyricist, composer and arranger, often handling full credits for Stray Kids' tracks. He has also received credits on collaborative tracks with US rapper Lil Durk, Japanese rapper Sky-Hi, Korean-American rapper Tiger JK and Japanese singer-songwriter Lisa, and has co-written and produced songs for Chinese artists Show Lo & Yao Chen, and Japanese boy bands and JO1 & NEXZ. His song "Paradise", by Japanese girl group NiziU, the theme for Doraemon: Nobita's Sky Utopia in 2023, became the first song produced by 3Racha to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Japan. As a main rapper, producer, and songwriter, HAN has been instrumental in producing Stray Kids’ signature sound, but he's also a hugely successful Solo Act!

Born in Incheon, S. Korea, HAN moved to Malaysia with his family, and returned to S. Korea at 14 to become a Korean idol. In 2015 he auditioned for JYP and was the 2nd Stray Kids member selected. After debuting, HAN enrolled at Gukje Cyber University, with Lee Know and Changbin, to study performance and broadcast entertainment, and attended Def Music Academy in Gangnam. In 2016, he co-founded 3RACHA with Bang Chan and Changbin. 3RACHA became the core of Stray Kids, producing most of the group's work and establishing their reputation as a self-produced act. Before their official debut, 3RACHA released 3 mixtapes on SoundCloud. The 2nd mixtape, '3Days' dropped on August 16, 2017, featuring Han's solo track, "I See", under the alias J. One. HAN made his official debut with Stray Kids on March 25, 2018, with the EP, 'I Am Not'.

HAN has released numerous solo tracks via Stray Kids' SKZ-RECORD series, showcasing his introspective lyrics and versatile production, including "Close" & "I Got It" in 2020, "Alien", "Wish You Back" & "HaPpy" in 2021, "Run" in 2022, "Volcano" & "Miserable (You & Me)" in 2023, "13", "1, 2, 3, 4, 5" (feat. Bae of NMIXX), "maybe" & "Human" in 2024 and "Hold My Hand" in 2025! Han's self-composed song "Twilight", a B-side on Stray Kids' EP 'Ate', was his first solo-composition to hit the Billboard World Digital Sales Chart, debuting at #10 on July 2024! In April 2024, Han co-produced with 3Racha Stray Kids' first Japanese OST for "Why?" for Fuji TV's RE: Revenge – At the End of Desire. In July 2024, Han with 3RACHA co-wrote and co-produced Stray Kids song "Slash" for the Deadpool & Wolverine soundtrack, marking Han's first contribution to the soundtrack of a Hollywood movie.

In April 2025, "Truman", HAN's amazing duet with Felix from Stray Kids' single album, 'Dominate', debuted at #33 on the Official UK Singles Sales Chart, hit #1 on YouTube Trending worldwide, racked 70M+ Spotify streams, and landed on Genius Korea’s 2025 top 3! HAN's OST “Genie” with Felix & I.N in October 2025, hit #4 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales! Three weeks later his first solo OST “Updraft” for 'Typhoon Family' dropped, hitting 11M+ streams. On April 21, 2026 HAN dropped “Let It Show” from 'Yumi’s Cells 3'. In May, he guest-versed for indie band can’t be blue on “can’t love” and on June 11 he dropped his self-written SKZ-PLAYER single “back to life”, racking up over 14M! In August HAN officially unleashed “Raining Stars” and the live-legend guitar cut “Don’t Say” on SKZ-REPLAY 2026!

HAN is a Live Performance powerhouse, and stands out wherever he raps, especially at the Global Citizen Festival on September 23, 2023 in New York City, his first international festival appearance as part of 3RACHA. On July 12, 2024 HAN headlined with Stray Kids 'I-Days Milano', and on July 14 he stunned at the BST Hyde Park festival in London. HAN made a striking appearance at Lollapalooza Chicago on August 2, 2024, the U.S. date that locked Stray Kids as a true festival headliner with his spitfire verses on “God’s Menu,” “Maniac,” and festival-cut “Chk Chk Boom” included in every clip. Stray Kids returned to New York as headliners at the Governors Ball on June 6, 2026, then launched their own Latin America festival brand with StrayCity in Bogotá on September 9, 2026, and on September 11, became the first K-pop act to headline Rock in Rio, closing the current peak with festival versions of “Do It,” “Ceremony,” and “Chk Chk Boom.” “On the official Globoplay/Multishow clips, comments flagged HAN’s ‘Hall of Fame’ moment, his dancing, his tank-top look, and a ‘premium Han + Hyunjin’ Maniac cut.”

HAN is also a great TV host and became very popular on Show! Music Core, co-presenting three episodes from 2020 to 2022! He was a special guest judge for the "JYP Match" mission on Street Woman Fighter 2 in September 2023 and a special guest judge for the final episodes of JYP Entertainment's survival show Nizi Project Season 2 in December 2023.

HAN has won several awards including Best Hip-Hop Video at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards Japan, for 3Racha's collab "Just Breathe" with SKY-HI. In 2024, as part of 3Racha, HAN received the Best Creator Award at the Asia Artist Awards. He has received numerous nominations as part of 3Racha for Best Producer and Best Arranger at the Asian Pop Music Awards, a 2025 Gold Derby Album of the Year nomination, a Seoul Music Award 2026 OST nod for “Updraft,” and a pending 2026 Korea Grand Music Awards Best OST for “Let It Show” and also multiple nominations and awards at the Asia Star Entertainer Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, the Circle Chart Music Awards, the Golden Disc Awards, the iHeartRadio Music Awards, the MAMA Awards, and the MTV Video Music Awards. HAN also received the Prime Minister's Commendation at the 2023 Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards with Stray Kids. HAN has been the only 4th-generation idol to appear in the top 15 of the Idol Composer Trend Index spending just one week outside the top 10, every week of the first four months of 2024. Since his debut, HAN has ranked consistently in Tumblr's K-Pop Stars of the Year, ranking 39 in 2018, 19 in 2019, 30 in 2020, 20 in 2021, and 16 in 2022. As of July 31, 2024, HAN was the most-followed member of Stray Kids on MelOn. Billboard ranked HAN 6th in their 2024 K-Pop Artist 100, and No. 34 on Billboard’s 2025 K-Pop Artist 100! Demi Phillips, writing for We Got This Covered, ranked him among the best male K-pop singers of all time! As part of Stray Kids, HAN has been called a rising star by Forbes Korea, Gold House and Time.

HAN is a highly sought after ambassador for domestic and international fashion and cosmetic brand campaigns, including Bench, Clio, Mahagrid, Nacific, and Tommy Hilfiger. In May 2024, he made his Met Gala debut with Stray Kids as the guest of Tommy Hilfiger! In 2024, Han made his first solo fashion appearance modelling Balmain on the cover of W Korea for two issues. He wore several pre-release Balmain pieces on tour with Stray Kids that same year. In May 2025, Han was the model for NARS Cosmetics on the cover of Nylon Japan, with a 26 page feature and extended interview. On June 15, 2026, TOD’s named HAN Brand Ambassador, starring in ads for Gommino loafers, T-buckle bags, aand suede bomber! HAN caused a sensation, debuting his new title at Tod’s SS27 menswear show at Milan Fashion Week on June 21, and hit the Autunno Italiano pop-up on August 12!

HAN makes consistent donations to charity. On Sept 14, 2025 he celebrated his 25th birthday, by personally donating ₩100 million ($72K) to Samsung Medical Center including ₩50M for adult severe-illness care and nursing and ₩50M for treatment costs for children and adolescent patients. Han expressed gratitude to his fans for their support: “I’d like to thank my fans for making it possible for me to fill my birthday with this meaningful sharing. I hope my heartfelt support will reach those in need and give them strength and courage.” As part of Stray Kids', he took part in the JYP Every Dream Matters campaign to help support terminally ill children's wishes and in February 2023, participated in JYP EDM Wish Day activities by virtually granting wishes of overseas children with incurable diseases! On April 1, 2025, HAN with Stray Kids donated 800 million won including 400M won to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and 400M won to the World Vision social welfare corporation to support residents affected by the large wildfires in Gyeongsang regions, and provide emergency relief supplies, urgent living expenses and support for firefighters. After the Nov 26, 2025 Wang Fuk Court (Tai Po) high-rise fire in Hong Kong, HAN and Stray Kids made a donation of HK$1 million (US$128,000) through World Vision Hong Kong for temporary housing and psychological support for affected children and residents.
