not at all, i attended other groups concerts in korea and the projects were super successful and amazing even when involved singing in acapell during the concert break after a VCR, but fo skz i almost never experienced a successful fan project in korea beside those green paper airplanes in maniac
it’s my opinion based on my personal experience, i attended all dominate stops in europe except london and i didn’t experienced any fan project not even close to the ones the concerts in asia usually have (i’m talking about kpop in general not only skz). It can be bcs the organization is totally different, the fan project are not decided by the fans in asia to begin, so the organization is less chaotic and it reach everyone because it’s usually included in the banner or with the merch, meanwhile here is more difficult that the fanbase notice arrives to every person who attends the concert.
i’ll say as a person who attended a few concerts of skz in korea, they usually choose bad timing for the fan projects, the only fan project that was really successful it was the green paper airplanes during maniac. And in top of that, it’s also bcs the fans, because i attended many concerts of exo and usually all the projects were successful. Personally i think it’s because most of the crowd is usually korean, chinese an japanese meanwhile with skz there’s more overseas that are not maybe used to the fan project thing 🤔 actually it happens the same with the fanchants, you can’t hardly listen the fanchants during skz concerts honestly.
mmh i understand, i have divided opinion if i’m honest. I honestli think sometimes it can get risky bcs new face appear and maybe turns out being someone a bit weird meanwhile i know fans that attend or had many VC who always had cute short conversation with them, always praising them every comeback etc. Not all are asking for cute or cringe dance is just that those get viral so you see them every cb that’s all. But at same time i do know at some point theres nothing more to say and the easiest is to just ask him to do a trend or wathever idk.
but the 99% of the events from korean and chinese based shops works always with “cut number”. It is sick, but kpop it’s capitalism at the end. They want people to spend tons of money, we later celebrate when they sell 5M albums like 5star and that is reached thanks to the insanity amount of albums they sell thanks to these events.
In my opinion there’s nothing wrong about having multiples VC or attending multiples Fansigns either attending multiple concerts etc i know some of the cutest fans in this fandom who applies for VC for one of the member on very comeback and their interactions are always the cutest. Not all VC are cringe, and i can tell they are not tired of seeing always the same faces (at least not most of those faces).
of course there will be always people asking you for the quantity of albums you bought but the common is to just keep that for yourself if i’m honest, at the end is your opportunity to win next time and your money. Not all store works with the “the 30 who buys the most” for example. Some store like Subkshop, Hello82 i heard these works like random ruffle that you can win even buying a single album.
@chriskzbang for real i can’t remember how many times i discussed with other stays about this issue, the trend is to blame kstay for everything when they sometimes even can’t attend many of the concerts bcs of the other asian countries and overseas fan who travels to korea every concert “/fm
