Notice how the industry didnโt protect her despite actually SELLING the film, the theatrical hit was her cut of the film! And sheโs had prior successes tooโฆ everything that worked about It Ends With Us was reliant on Blake Lively. What a sad, sad state. Sexism wins over profit
Justin Baldoni said in an interview with Dallas Morning News that his character Ryleโs motivation for attempting to beat & rape Blake Livelyโs character Lily was to โloveโ her hard enough that sheโd forget about her childhood ex.
The interview was cut & there were then discussions internally that Baldoni shouldnโt be doing any more press.
But yโall were mad at Blake for talking about florals.
Justin Baldoni keeps on swearing up and down about his innocence even going as far to make a smear website but wants this Blake Lively case not to see the light of day in court. Makes you wonder what else does he have to hide or better yet whatโs he afraid of people finding out ?

Blake Livelyโs fight with Justin Baldoni and Jamey Heath has turned into more than a lawsuit. It has become a story about who she is as a person and whether she is genuinely someone who supports women. Baldoni supporters keep pushing the idea that she suddenly discovered feminism in December 2024, like she switched it on the day she filed. That version sounds neat, but it falls apart the moment you look at her actual history.
Lively has been supporting women long before this case ever existed. In 2017 she amplified Aly Raismanโs abuse testimony during #MeToo. In 2018 she pushed the Timeโs Up initiative and shared fundraising videos for harassment survivors. She has spent years highlighting women in leadership, promoting gender equity and donating to causes that directly help vulnerable women and girls. She and Ryan Reynolds have put significant money into the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, immigrant rights and refugee protections that overwhelmingly affect mothers and young women. None of that earned her flashy headlines, but the actions are documented.
During this case she has stayed consistent. When Baldoni filed a defamation countersuit aimed at her statements about harassment, more than a dozen womenโs rights groups filed briefs in support of her. She publicly thanked them and talked about how retaliation keeps women silent. Her TIME 100 speech was the same. She spoke about her motherโs assault, about fear and about how speaking out is often punished. You do not have to like her or believe everything she says, but pretending she only started caring about women last year is simply not true.
A lot of the spin now is tied to the birthing video dispute. Critics claim a real advocate for women would never drag another womanโs intimate birth footage into a courtroom. That argument sounds emotional, but it leaves out the key fact that changes everything. Jamey Heath is the one who chose to show that video at work. Lively did not ask for it, did not expect it and stopped it after a few seconds. He used it as a creative reference, said Natasha approved it and then later denied that anything graphic was shown.
Once he made the video part of the workplace, it became part of the case. And when he insisted publicly that the clip showed no nudity, he put his own credibility directly on the line. Providing only a short curated excerpt months later made the situation worse, not better. Judges hate delayed and partial disclosures. That is why Judge Liman ordered Heath to produce all versions and pay Livelyโs fees. The court did not place blame on her. It placed blame on him for creating a discovery problem.
Lively did not drag Natasha into this. Heath did, the moment he pressed play. That is how federal discovery works. If he brings it into the workplace and then into his own defense, the other side has a right to see the full context. That is not a betrayal of women. It is a direct consequence of his choices.
You can dislike how Lively has handled parts of this case. You can think she overreached in asking to strike Heathโs testimony. But rewriting her entire advocacy history to paint her as a sudden opportunist ignores years of evidence. And blaming her for the birthing video uproar ignores who actually introduced it and who actually withheld it.
