Yesterday, we released security-focused versions of all our software tools (free, paid and evaluation). The security changes are:
o Encrypt communications between our tools and the SVL Admin Service
o Verify the client using the service is allowed
This was inspired by our own desire to improve the software and keep our customers secure. There has been no known breach of machines using our software. I don't think we're a large enough target to have been considered worth the effort - unlike Notepad++.
Hey @mozthunderbird, how do I stop the menubar from hiding itself? I want a permanent solution, I don't want to need to remember to press ALT to get the menubar back. I want it displayed permanently, like every other application I use.
@TheCoolestCool Also, I could not find any way to email the company to ask presales questions, which is why I'm contacting you here. Surely email would be more time efficient?
@TheCoolestCool Hi Ross,
A quick look at https://t.co/GpAqHpAxeS. I can't find a definitive page listing all the channels you support. I've found mentions of Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.
Do you support meta's Threads?
@TheCoolestCool@EmmanuelTheCEO I hate all the humble bragging and twitter growth bragging. It's so corrosive. You can't help but notice it and even if you think you don't care, you're aware of it. How much I would like a filter that would get rid of it all.
Great thread Ross.
A new version of Memory Validator is in development that allows you to slice and dice all the various statistics displays (timeline, running total, types, sizes, allocations, hotspots) by allocator type - for example, by CRT, GDI handles, USER32 handles, user-defined types.
Building command lines can be a chore, and error prone. We created Command Line Builder to make building command lines simpler, easier and less error prone.

You can use environment variables with many of our command line parameters and in some configuration files. How do you debug when that goes wrong?
I've written about there here:

New update of Memory Validator.
This release fixes a bug on the Timeline display that causes some machines to hang because the Windows message queue gets saturated.
