+ and it’s wholesome and gut wrenching at the same time that it feels like a part of early adult years is being taken away but for the better. i can’t put it into words but it feels like andy leaving his toys, not entirely a goodbye just a see you later.
more than mark’s departure, i think the thing that makes me sad the most is coming to terms that nothing is permanent. i always thought of nct as something constant, that they would always be a group. but mark leaving just solidified that that may not always be the case +
+ but that’s also okay because that’s just how life goes. and i think that’s why the journey is always more important than the outcome, i’m glad to be part of that journey. my mid-college self found comfort in nct, and now i’m at my second job +
to walk away from what has been your identity for more than a decade. to truly decide what you think is best for you after being so selfless for so many yrs.
the great courage of beginning again.
wishing you the best, mark. you worked hard & did well. now, onto your new path 💫
mark was just a little kid with a deep passion for music and writing, who followed his heart and dreams. one thing’s for sure—that same dream and passion is still burning, even brighter than ever.
can’t wait for ur next journey, mark! 🤍
