[M.A.M.A.T.E.E.0.0.1 @mamatii001]

Men hate this kind of body so much. .
I don't know why!!

[anthony @sofymoore]

SirJ for me I think it's where the unit of house is more acceptable with the price and not where the price is more acceptable than d unit, cos the latter shows more acceptance across the starter while the former shows only those of one category. So I prefer the latter Baba

[Sir J (J9) @SirJarus]

Business case study

Jarus Homes started in Lagos in 2022.

We expanded to Abuja in late 2023. We have small presence in Offa, my hometown, too.

Based on these charts (info covered 2022-2026), which city should we intensify efforts on?

[anthony @sofymoore]

[anthony @sofymoore]

Life has different looks to different pple, some people spiritual life has been taken care of by their ancestors, some has been taking care of by their Eledas, some has been taken care of by their Characters, hence IWA NI OBA AWURE. But in all ori o se fi we ori.

[Moore @Accoid]

It’s worrisome for a Muslim not to be able to recite Fatiha , banter aside, this is very concerning. The replies to my last is even worse, people confirmed to me in my dm that they don’t know how to read it, they were not taught and don’t see it as anything.

I was arguing with people that ko possible seh!…, life is spiritual don’t you pray at all ni.

Ahhh! 😯

[anthony @sofymoore]

But why must Nigerians take advantage of the weak side of a thing in life? We were talking about marketers before and now na cinema owners. Why can't we be fair for God's sake, is just companies making heavy returns of investment but paying the workers peanuts, it's not fair ooo

[Moore @Accoid]

Now that Omotola has buttressed Kunle Afolayan’s point, I believe cinemas dictate what audiences watch.

The higher a movie grosses, the more money they make. They get a much bigger cut from a ₦2 billion film than a ₦500 million one, so naturally, they’ll keep pushing the ₦2 billion movie on the audience.

Sadly, movie producers are fighting themselves while excusing the bad actors.

[anthony @sofymoore]

And u get PhD oooooo?

[Dr. KAL Ph.D SAN LLB @kalempire]

@fimiletoks Then tell your tinubu to present himself for debate! Obasanjo while in power debated his ideas when he was running for 2nd term! Oh, why am I not surprised, the mic licking drvggie is a dvmbo who would end up licking the mic on the debate floor!

[anthony @sofymoore]

BAT has approved 80% increase of ARMY's salary but is no make healing on social media, truly we all know what we are doing.

[anthony @sofymoore]

Egi, Allah will continue to give u better brief and big clients dat will bring d money, dis d prob of most Nigeria biz owners, dey make much profit but pay less to their staffs and they want the best from dem.

[Foundational Nupe Lawyer @egi_nupe]

When we started M.A and A in 2023, entry level pay was about 100k and that bothered me so much for months. I was constantly praying for good briefs so as to increase salaries and set up other welfare packages for my staff. Today, no lawyer in our firm earns less than 250k as entry level and I am still not satisfied with it. This is a law firm that is not even upto 3 years, without any big or major client yet; and to augment our current pay, and welfare including HMO, December packages, we give room for private practice, either through their own sources or my referrals.

So when I read or hear about how law firms belonging to Senior Advocates of Nigeria, highly placed and successful lawyers, who have top clients, handle big briefs and live comfortably both publicly and privately, but pay their lawyers as low as 50k-100k, with nothing more not even HMO, I take pride in what I am doing.

One of my priorities as the owner of the firm is not even to make profits, because I am confident that it will come in the long run, but eagerness to make the lives of my lawyers and others better, at least financially. I believe that the better I pay and take care of people who are working for me, the more God blesses me. There are times I have decided to increase salaries without any money on ground and when it’s time to pay God has a magical way of coming through for us.

I am tempted to ask: what does it feel like as a boss with millions of naira in your account, dashing people money, living in houses worth hundreds of millions and ridding expensive cars, yet your staff cannot afford to feed and live meaningfully? Where is your conscience? Where is your humanity?

One sad reality is that NBA cannot do anything to make the lives of these young lawyers better. Every election year, NBA politician use welfare of young lawyers” as campaign points but once an election finishes, everybody forgets about young lawyers.

It is well.

[anthony @sofymoore]

So ur supposedly bursary can pay your school fees throughout ur Uni and also gives stipends tooo? Just seek for forgiveness from amadioha

[Ibeh @masurge7]

What we used to call Bursary which was free is what Lapite turned to NELFUND which is a loan.

[Foundational Nupe Lawyer @egi_nupe]

If I listen to a conversation, say 5mins or more, I probably wouldn’t catch a single thing during the conversation, but if you ask me to repeat every single thing after the conversation, I will ipsissima verba.

Is it normal?

[anthony @sofymoore]

JM thinks ahead once he see u in training then he knows where u will perform and last as a player. In premiership then Obi was one the best combative midfielder. At times holding forth d defenders when they go for counter, Thanks to JM.

[Sir J (J9) @SirJarus]

Mourinho did him a favour.

His longevity was because of switch to DM.

He wasn't going to last 11 seasons in a club as big as Chelsea as a CAM.

[anthony @sofymoore]

Nope but academians both parent

[Femi Abiodun @realfemiabiodun]

@toluogunlesi @NigBarAssoc @fmitiofficial They are sisters from same parents. Their parents must be a known politician.

If u graduate with good grades in naija and u didn't get a good job u are still olodo. If u didn't go to school at all and u manage to make legal money u are a briliant person, it's not all about four walls of classroom, one need to add some level of intelligence.

[Anthony Chiedozie @chiedozie40972]

@legitngnews Education in Nigeria is useless. Tell me how someone will graduate with a good grade and still get paid peanut in the name of salary. Even to get the job with the grades na war.

[anthony @sofymoore]

Are u truly noble in a noble profession must u be rude all the time? And must everybody support ur own? What happen to having choices? Pls behave like a reasonable person all the time. Respect other people's choice, no matter hw one could be worst, the person will still have fans

[Inibehe Effiong @InibeheEffiong]

It took Tinubu to unravel some people we thought were credible and respectable. https://t.co/HXTZGVCrGm

[anthony @sofymoore]

as u dey so, u no get mentor, or someone u can go tooto influence something in life for u? Does that makes u a slave? alws think positvely

[Olu Alani @olusola_alani]

@lagosyouknow Yoruba are too comfortable with feudalism & slavery, we're even worse than the North😳

Northerners have a problem with basic education but an educated Yoruba man would still rather kiss ass & worship a godfather, else he will be ostracised by his own people i.e. the happy slaves

[anthony @sofymoore]

Dr hw does the roman or Vatican beer look like?😊😊😊😊

[Dr Joe Abah, OON @DrJoeAbah]

I’ve been to different parts of Italy but, funnily enough, never to “the eternal city.” So, I decided that it was a good destination to go and baby boy for a few days and visit the residence of il Papa.

I’ve been to various countries with rich historical legacies, but visiting a city that has been continuously inhabited for some 2,700 years was quite something.

The best thing about Rome, for me, is how the old has been seamlessly integrated with the new. You could be on a bog-standard street and the tour guide will just say “Beneath our feet is where Julius Caesar was stabbed 44 years BEFORE Christ.” And then you drive past the Colosseum to get to a restaurant and they casually tell you that it has stood there for nearly 2,000 years!

Our driver whinged about how much it cost to build the Supreme Court. He said he is sure that the Mafia has inflated the price by some 500%.

I told him that I didn’t realise that the Mafia were still active. He looked at me as if to say “Are you daft?” He then said “The Mafia controls EVERYTHING!”

He complained about how dirty Rome is and asked whether where I had come from was as dirty as Rome. I said it’s cleaner than Abuja but not as clean as London. He pointed to some men and women sweeping the streets and said “The Mafia make more money from street cleaning than they make from drugs, gambling and prostitution.” I felt like I was in a Mario Puzo novel about the 1920s.

Then I started to rationalise that serious corruption in Nigeria is actually like a Mafia set-up. I remembered what one senior Nigerian politician once said to me: “Don’t be confused by the alignments and realignments, the political family in Nigeria is one family.”

Anyway, on to the Vatican to go and baby boy with the Pope. I asked after him but they said traveled. I told them to let him know that Ezemmuo came.😂

Entering the Vatican, the Italians make great play of letting you know that you have left Italy and are now in a different country, with a different Head of State, its own army (the Swiss Guards), and its own Euro coins. No need to spoil the fun by asking why we didn’t need a Vatican visa or how many wars the 135-man Vatican army can fight.😂

The Vatican Museum was quite something. Artefacts from Egypt, Greece and different parts of Italy before Italy was unified. The tour guide said something interesting: “The Romans were geniuses at several things, including architecture and engineering, but not in religion or art. Everything beautiful in Rome came from elsewhere.”

Then, as we were about to enter the Sistine Chapel, they reminded us that it is a church. Men take off hats and caps. Women can keep them on but don’t have to cover their hair. No pictures or videos allowed. No taking! Shuuush! 🤫

Then, I was fortunate in this my lifetime to behold the genius of Michelangelo of Florence. It took him four years to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel and another 5 years to paint “The Last Judgment” on the wall behind the altar of the chapel. He used the opportunity to sub all of his critics by depicting them as devils or other unsavoury characters. 😀

The Sistine Chapel brought a tear to my eyes sha. I wondered how God could give some people so much talent, and how they were able to use it in the praise and worship of His name.

The work took a physical toll
on Michelangelo. He is alleged to have said that he would prefer death to having to do it again.

Then, on to St Peter’s Basilica. It just makes you feel so small. You realise that some things are just bigger than you. You realise how tiny the Pope’s living quarters are, compared to the whole square. You are informed that you are one of 60,000 people who visit EVERYDAY!

You realise that, just like you, the Pope will die and be replaced by another. But also that the Holy Catholic Church, the bones of St Peter (the rock upon which God’s church was built) resting under the Vatican, and the Gospel of Christ will remain forever.

Peace be with you!

[anthony @sofymoore]

Dem rescue dem alive u still dey complain, wetin gan gan u want?

[Sir Dickson @Wizarab10]

Rescued?

Where are the bodies of the kidnappers? If you were going to pay ransom, why didn't you pay it a long time ago?

On the positive side, at least they are alive. How they deal with the trauma is the next phase of their lives.
