I’m serious.

There is a difference between acknowledging mental illness and using it to excuse the killing of three innocent children. Compassion does not require you to abandon every moral instinct you possess.

Those children were brutally murdered and are victims. They had futures and they deserved protection from the person they trusted most.

Yet somehow, mentally ill people have twisted this into a story where the mother deserves all the sympathy.

Pay attention to anyone who thinks that way.

People reveal their character by whom they instinctively defend, whose suffering they minimize, and what they are willing to excuse.

Draw conclusions accordingly.

If this woman had gotten hormonal and slapped one of her children for screaming too much I would be open to a conversation about postpartum emotion control but that’s not what happened.

What happened is that she intentionally strangled one of her beautiful, helpless children while they struggled and fought for air and then looked at their dead twitching body before moving on to the next two.

I am not open to any conversation about postpartum depression or any other nonsense.

The woman is a monster and should be rolled off a bridge with a rope around her neck.
