These 240 are open and everyone can compete including reserved folks and you still call this fair recruitment? You are selling our futures in broad daylight. Merit-based youth are slipping into depression while watching their careers being handed over on a platter.
Where is the Sub-Committee Report that was constituted to correct this imbalance? Why has it been buried? Why are you deliberately murdering the future of hardworking students?
Every exam, every notification & every list is pushing General Category students out of the system. This isn’t welfare, this is systematic exclusion. This is injustice. And this is how you destroy a generation.

The delay in finalizing the J&K Rural Development Service Recruitment Rules, which have been approved by the ARI and Trainings Department but remain stalled in the Finance Department, is indeed creating challenges for Panchayat Secretaries in Jammu and Kashmir. These frontline workers play a pivotal role in implementing key rural development schemes such as the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana (PMAY), Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), and projects under the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) budget. Despite their critical responsibilities, they are reportedly stuck at a Grade Pay of 1900, which many argue does not reflect their qualifications or the scope of their work.
This situation has sparked frustration, as Panchayat Secretaries are essential to the success of rural governance and development initiatives. #MGNREGA ensures wage employment and asset creation, #PMAY focuses on housing for the rural poor, #SBM drives sanitation efforts, and #CAPEX funds infrastructure projects—all of which rely heavily on these officials for execution at the grassroots level. The delay in updating recruitment rules and addressing pay disparities could hamper their morale and efficiency, potentially affecting the delivery of these schemes.
Resolving this impasse could strengthen the system by ensuring fair compensation and formalized service rules, ultimately benefiting rural communities dependent on these programs.
