Sirs this was a petty shop that has been made to permanently encroach footpath by BBMP contractor while relaying footpath with tax payer's money. Are footpaths meant to be for pedestrians or for street vendors?. BBMP AEE refuses to take action as he is constantly under duress.

I am disabled and I got married at the Registrars Office at Khar Mumbai on 16/10/23. The office was on the 2nd floor WITHOUT a lift. They wouldn’t come downstairs for the signatures and I had to be carried up two flights of stairs to get married.

[rant ahead] Indian "tech" influencers cannot post content without the word "interview" ⚡

I see people working in reputed companies and holding more than 3/5/8 years of work experience still talking about cracking interviews. Why interviews and narcissistic podcasts ...

- why not deep engineering concepts?
- why not talk about becoming a better engineer?
- why not paper dissections?
- why not build a programming language?
- why not distributed computing and storage?
- why not cellular automata?
- why not mathematics?
- why not approximate data structures?
- why not database internals?
- why not build really solid open-source projects?

This explosion of mediocre content has made India a land of interview enthusiasts and not engineering enthusiasts ⚡

Next time your favorite bhaiya/didi posts non-engineering content, ask them to create videos and content on deep engineering topics. I really hope they do this and help elevate the entire engineering ecosystem.

Also, creators create what consumers consume. If you are consuming mindless narcissistic podcasts or day-in-a-life videos, the creators will churn out those. So, I would urge you to consume the content that matters, that makes you better every day.

I hope we look above and beyond interviews and elevate the engineering ecosystem. Until then ... spend time doing, watching, learning, reading, listening to things that matter.
