@FoodProfessor But wasn’t there an old way of finding root cause of these outbreaks? I found that the present cyclospora outbreak root cause took longer than usual, especially for a disease where food is involved. “Explosive diarrhea” is a phrase that would have me scouring for answers.
@FoodProfessor@Dalagrifood You know one has a lot to learn about their own country and their legends. Mr Charlebois is the energizer bunny of singing, working for charity in his 80s(!) and golf! Really have to listen to his works on yt to appreciate this man’s talents.
@FoodProfessor Why did St-Hubert leave Ontario—we loved the chicken and sauce! Seriously having a first job is important to learn how to function as a team member, mannerism, speaking up for oneself to boss, etcetera. Enjoy the kids working!
@FoodProfessor Radio has been the voice of reason for a long time. TV/Cable/streaming have distorted truths esp recently. Podcasts depends on the listener. But radio has tried to be a balance of news and information for decades. Sorry some have to go, unfortunately technology will evolve.
@FoodProfessor A premier of questionable decisions made one by pouring crown royale to the ground, thereby starting his movement—why on a Canadian product? Wasn’t he supposed to pour maybe some Kentucky bourbon down the drain? And for what purpose? It’s stupid nonsensical stuff we’re dealing.
@FoodProfessor Canada is not above all nations, it’s mediocre at best and needs a kick in the butt to realize that being nice and humble needs work my friend. Clearly we are ahead in food inflation. Our attitude is mixed up. I hope to improve I just don’t know we think we’re above others
@FoodProfessor I’ve used the self-checkout almost every day—not that I don’t want to interact with the cashiers, I work in retail. It’s quick and easy once you know what to do. Yes, there is an employee overseeing the self checkouts to help and spot the odd item not scanned.
@FoodProfessor It seems that food is not on the radar for the prime minister, after all he has a good salary thanks to us and food seems to be something that will work itself out. We’re no. 1 in the G7 for food inflation, his economic mind should be aware that we need sustenance.
@FoodProfessor This is crazy numbers—one has to think where they’re getting their protein other than the grocers. Butchers, get ready for a lineup to your counters.
@FoodProfessor Trump is an anomaly that was lucky to reach the presidency. Twice. Unbelievable isn’t it? There is no political ounce of integrity in him. He’s unpredictable and to analyze this is a waste of time.
@FoodProfessor My husband always looks beyond the use by date, it’s probably why we have a pantry full of jars and candles that are at least 10 years old! On the other hand, once milk goes beyond its date, I would throw it out for fear of gastrointestinal distress. We’ve been married 33 yrs.
@FoodProfessor I used to like KFC, but with small chickens and a very salty recipe, others like Popeyes and the other KFC (Korean fried chicken) have convinced me to pay the difference in price.
@FoodProfessor Why bother with a group of headnodders? Of course either nobody knows where billions will be coming from or the media is playing possum and not asking.
@FoodProfessor The r word is in effect like it or not. Recession is in full swing folks, let’s just get through it! To admit it would stop this weird tango we’re having.
@FoodProfessor Starbucks as much as I consume them with soy milk, shouldn’t have passed the buck to the consumer as an extra from regular milk. Some get violent gastrointestinal effects after drinking milk. To change chains for me is inconvenient so I doled out the money.
