Visited several villages in the Neel area of my Constituency yesterday to take stock of the ongoing developmental works and assess the progress of various projects on the ground.

During the visit, I also met with my valued colleagues, representatives and local residents, who apprised me of the key issues and developmental works requiring immediate attention in the area.

I have taken note of the concerns raised and assured the people that their genuine demands will be pursued on priority. Among other important decisions, I have issued necessary instructions for the release of funds for the upgradation of the Guest House at Neel.

Our focus remains on ensuring balanced development and strengthening essential infrastructure across every part of Banihal-Gool constituency.

I am pleased to share that tenders have been floated for the following important works:
• Construction of Motorable Bridge at Goog­li RD 200, Shalgadi Maligam — ₹2.2868 Cr
• Construction of Span Bridge at Neel Nallah, Ramsoo — ₹50.64 lakh
• Construction of Residential Accommodation for Revenue Officer at Banihal, District Ramban — ₹22 lakh
• Construction of Niabat Office at Neel, Ramban — ₹15 lakh
• Construction of Patwar Khanna at Neel Pogal Paristan, Ramban — ₹8 lakh

These projects represent another concrete step towards improving road connectivity, administrative infrastructure and public services, particularly in areas that have remained underserved for decades.

Called on Hon’ble Chief Minister @OmarAbdullah Sb at the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar today and held a discussion on a wide range of developmental initiatives concerning the Banihal-Gool Constituency.

I highlighted several key issues requiring immediate attention and sought the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s intervention to further accelerate the pace of development across the constituency.

I am deeply grateful to Omar Sb for his patient hearing and unwavering commitment towards the holistic development of Banihal-Gool.
