@adopteelaw HAC is a facade. It does zero to protect children but it is used as excuse. As long as it is HAC proof then… seriously this is nothing to be excited about and no it is not even a tiny step in the right direction. HAC should be discarded.

As soon as the abuse started when I was around 2-3 years old in hindsight but consciously it would be around 4-5 when I discovered classmates were treated better by their parents and started to put 2 and 2 together quickly

#adopteetwitter Adoption doesn't make a family, it creates obligatory relationships with conflicting needs & genetic predispositions. The power imbalance makes it likely the adoptive parents' needs will be fulfilled but the child's needs will not. And the child is blamed.

@TheKoreaHerald Autistic people only have to overcome adversity because of the way society fails to accommodate them. Plus there is no such thing as high functioning autism. Korea has a lot to learn on autism autistic people and how to provide and support.

Somehow he&she were approved as suitable parents. Claiming I would have a big extended family ready to love me, lies! From the start I was isolated, stuck with two abusers nothing else. They are dead why am I still “related” to the rest who hated me even before I arrived?!

Korea was famous for making infants a family of one, the head of our own family on paper with just us on it making us orphans but also available to be sold and shipped. When I get to cut legal ties with the paper family I will never get my original family back.
