It’s #ClinicalTrialsAwarenessDay@DGlaucomflecken@LGlaucomflecken & I recently spoke about why studies are needed to improve cancer care and make oncology about far more than “just chemo”, which is obviously not enough for patients

Sometimes the most important thing during stressful times is to simply be there for your patients.
TDP's volunteers regularly visit the daycare to spend time with patients receiving chemotherapy. They play board games and provide art supplies to help them pass their time. 💛🌼
🌼 Spreading hope and healing through art! Our medical students visited patients at Ibn Zuhr's oncology daycare, offering them a therapeutic session of art. The patients made these beautiful drawings crafted with love and creativity! 🎨✨ #DaffodilsProject#ArtTherapy
Deeply humbled to be recognized along with my amazing team @soig_aku for our flagship initiative @TheDaffodilsPr1 . It has been an honor to represent our cause and work for expanding cancer support groups in Pak. Sky is the limit!
📅 SOIG welcomed a passionate audience at the orientation today. We started off with brainstorming expectations, introducing SOIG as an innovative, progressive and visionary society of present. #medtwitter#oncology#MedStudentTwitter
And what started as an online platform has now expanded to also include an in-person community of cancer patients and survivors. 💪
Thank you Areeb, for your dedication to making a positive impact in the world! #TDP#SOIG#ImpactAndInnovation#CancerAwareness#CommunityBuilding
Congratulations to Areeb Lufti, (Class of 2022) and former Vice President of SOIG, for receiving the prestigious Impact and Innovation award at the Aga Khan University's convocation 2023! 🎉
During COVID-19, Areeb and his team created this online platform for cancer patients and caregivers to share their stories, building a community based on compassion and resilience. Through engaging video and written posts, TDP has provided vital support to those fighting it.
