Only problem is that the other things that are not part of this mother and father chromosomes are such a small factor of outcomes, that its more a mutation than a given third thing, and transitioning is not a natural thing since it requires outside help to do, no natural way to transition like some other species can, we cannot transition into another gender like say clownfish can, humans will require artificial means to transition to another gender, thus making it unnatural.
