To be clear:
I've been a Linkin Park fan since the very beginning. Their music has accompanied me since 2000 and helped me through the most difficult times of my life (severe depression, anxiety, alcoholism)
Chester's death hit me hard back then (and still hits me hard). I never thought the band would ever come back, but they did.
And they didn't just return; they set a new tone with Emily as the lead singer. They managed to produce music with heart and soul again and tour with it.
Of course, the band received criticism from various quarters, some constructive, some unnecessarily biased. Of course, Emily can never replace Chester, and that was never the plan!
All members were concerned with making music again that could convey emotions, and in my opinion, they did just that brilliantly.
That's why I simply don't think it's right that Linkin Park is sometimes so heavily criticized, especially by "older fans."

Conclusion:
The band has undergone a development and you can, of course, see that as either a good thing or a bad thing.
What you definitely shouldn't do, however, is deny this to other people who have chosen one of these two options!
The Linkin Park community has always been and always will be known for being a positive and non-toxic community, and that's exactly what it should remain!
We are all united by our love of music, profound lyrics, heavy riffs, and emotions expressed in words!

So, let's not let other people ruin it for us!
Let's just enjoy what the band gives us fans!
Let's remember the "old times" forever!
Let's celebrate the "new times" together with the band!
Let's just be @linkinpark fans!
