@agronomistag@herdyshepherd1 Does this not depend on the amount of nutrients being harvested from gravel in the soil as well? Don't fungi harvest elements from rock and make them available in solution?
The Son of God, through whom all things were created, was not welcomed, and a poor manger for animals was his crib. The eternal Word of the Father whom the heavens cannot contain chose to come into the world in this way. Out of love, he accepted poverty and rejection, identifying himself with those who are discarded and excluded. #Christmas
THE MAN WHO KILLED ST. MARIA GORETTI🇻🇦
This is Alessandro Serenelli, (the man who killed St Maria Goretti for not allow him to defile her in 1902) venerating the image of Maria Goretti.
Alessandro was sentenced to 30 years in prison. At his trial, he blamed Maria for her own death claiming that he was defending himself from a sexual attack that she herself instigated. In prison he was locked in isolation as his anger would lead to outbursts of physical violence against other inmates.
One night, six years into his prison sentence, Maria appeared to
Alessandro. She appeared in a garden picking 14 white lily flowers, handing them to him one by one. This gesture of forgiveness, this act of love, filled Alessandro with light and the Holy Spirit. He immediately became contrite for what he did to that little girl.
He finished the rest of his sentence in tranquility. In fact, his behavior became so docile, and the transformation of his person was so dramatic, that he was released three years early. Shortly after his release he sought out, and received, the forgiveness of Maria's mother.
He eventually joined the Capuchin Franciscans and, as a lay brother, worked as a gardener, porter, and general laborer. He died in the peace of Christ, with the love and admiration of those that knew him, at the Cappuchin convent at Macerata, Italy, on May 6, 1970.
To live free is the greatest gift, but to die free is the greatest victory.
Charlie Kirk was a martyr for truth and freedom. We will hold his memory in our hearts forever. 🤍
Charlie Kirk was assassinated in the prime of his life for speaking the truth, living his faith, & relentlessly fighting for America.
That is why today President Trump posthumously awarded Charlie Kirk our nation's highest civilian honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom. 🇺🇸
🚨 BREAKING: Absolutely incredible moment as President Trump brings Erika Kirk into the Oval Office and signs a proclamation marking today - Oct. 14, his birthday - as National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk 🇺🇸
I congratulate @POTUS on this historic peace plan that releases all the hostages.
Now, enduring peace in the region is possible.
Our parties are different but we have a shared ironclad commitment to Israel and its people.
27 new Swiss Guard recruits are sworn in.
Each of the recruits placed their hand on the Swiss Guards' flag and swore the following oath:
“I swear to serve faithfully, loyally, and honorably the Supreme Pontiff Leo XIV and his legitimate successors, and to dedicate myself to them with all my strength, even sacrificing my life if necessary for their defense. I also assume these obligations toward the College of Cardinals during the time of a vacant See. I furthermore promise respect, loyalty, and obedience to the Commander and my other superiors. I swear it. So help me God and our Holy Patrons.”
Before painting the Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo had never touched a fresco in his life.
And yet he would go on to create the most famous ceiling in the world.
