I got tired of standard text slides, so I added an animated news anchor on TV to deliver updates between nights in Physio! 📺

@MeekerKame81032 It depends on the pedestrian type and state. If the pedestrian is fleeing from a threat (gunshots for example), it will have the "in a hurry" state. Same thing for my police officers when they are chasing a suspect
Call the police? Done ✅
Arrest the troublemaker? Done ✅
Avoid getting run over by the tramway? Still working on that one... ❌💀
The cop mechanic is almost ready!

@MeekerKame81032 Hey thanks! The arrest flow is actually fully locked down now. Right now I'm just finishing up the NPC logic so everyone (including cops) actually stops when the tram passes!
Almost perfect as you can see
I was filming a really cool shot of a police operation in my game, and a bug with the bystanders ruined the whole thing...
Even the cop stopped to watch them

The city streets in Physio are finally coming to life with dynamic traffic, tramways, and pedestrians!
What do you think of the new ambient traffic?
#gamedev#indiegame
@blackthornlabs It actually does impact gameplay! Rain leaves the ground soaked, NPCs run for cover, and localized thunderstorms dynamic sound design changes the whole audio atmosphere
