@ObscureCarter I’m old school & agree that you have to beat the champion clearly, which I don’t think Ortiz did. When Ortiz did engage he did ok but he ran the whole fight. Teo was trying to actually make a fight of it. Maybe I was just frustrated watching it. The only losers were us…the fans.

@Yankees The biggest problem is Steinbrenner because he ultimately has the final say on contracts and money. The way he’s allowed Cashman to build this team is awful. All “HR or bust” guys. These guys have really ruined a great organization.

@KendrickPerkins Refs can make calls on every play if they nitpick. There’s always some holding or interference going on. By the letter of the law was it a hold? Yes. Does it get called every time it happens in a game? No. Refereeing is subjective and this ref thought it deserved to be called.
