🚨🇺🇦🇷🇺 A Ukrainian drone reportedly knocked out a Yandex data center, triggering large-scale outages on one of Russia's biggest cloud networks

Refineries, fuel terminals, and now the servers...

The strike reportedly hit a Yandex data center in Russia's Vladimir region, leaving it offline and knocking out Yandex Cloud services that companies across Russia depend on.

Yandex is basically Russia's Google, Uber and Amazon rolled into one, so when its cloud goes dark, a lot of everyday Russian life goes with it.

Hitting data centers squeezes Russia's economy without driving up the world's fuel prices the way refinery strikes do, so expect Ukraine to lean harder on soft targets like this while Washington pressures it to leave the diesel plants alone.

🚨🇪🇺🇺🇦 The EU is preparing MORE funding for Ukrainian drones and missiles, even as Zelensky calls for a ceasefire on energy infrastructure.

EU Chief von der Leyen announced the move following a phone call with Zelensky, confirming Brussels would provide additional funding for weapons this week.

She also backed Zelensky's proposal to halt attacks on energy infrastructure in both Russia and Ukraine, while accusing Moscow of targeting civilians.

EU leaders will discuss Ukraine's financing needs for 2027 and further progress toward EU membership.

Europe is backing a limited ceasefire while continuing to strengthen Ukraine's military capabilities.
