Halting in his dancing, Sun blinked, looking around. He was sure he had heard a child's voice . . . ? But he didn't see anyone around, and his sensors couldn't read any heat signatures either.

“ Hello ? Is there someone here ? It's okay, friend ! You can come out and play ! -

Balloon Boy was a new animatronic in the Pizzaplex, originally brought just for spare scrap. The workers would never guess that this little robot was still working and sentient.

He had been wandering around all day until he found the Daycare. He watched the attendant-

I'm safe ! I'm Mister Sun, the Daycare Attendant ! You're safe with me ! ”

He called out, trying to coax whoever it was out. Sun was unsure where to look for this mysterious child, but he began by checking the play structures, rays spinning in curiosity.

“ No one is supposed -

their respective buckets, just as he would before the fire.

It was a futile effort for sure, but what else was he supposed to do to keep himself busy?

He was just jumpy, he had to just be jumpy. Why else would he have heard the daycare doors open and shut, but not be able to see a single soul?

Nervousness set into his already frayed wires, and he let out a frustrated groan, moving back to hobbling around, cleaning the -

daycare where he could. The generators still worked, luckily. And the rumbling hum of the electronics was soothing enough to the daycare attendant, although it did mask any of the quieter sounds.

Back to work he went, cleaning up melted and burnt toys, putting them back in -

whatever was large enough to do so.

After spotting a rather large robot, he blinked, trying to figure out if this was an optic wire hallucination or not.

“ You're not really there, are you, giant robot outside the Pizza-Plex ? ”

All things considered? Sun was bitter, and having a bad day. No, wait, a bad week? Month, even?

The Plex had been closed for a while now, and with his system being partially on the fritz, he couldn't seem to keep an accurate track of time.

On top of that, a beam had fallen -

and abandonment as he was already, this situation was not good for him.

So alone he sat, just barely inside the daycare's open doors, watching the light filter in through broken windows.

However, he did end up noticing the shadows changing on the floor, and he looked towards -

attempt to chill his system from the embarrassment that heated up his faceplate.

The animatronic hollered, jumping away from his partner in surprise. After recognizing that it was just Moon, he seemed to settle again, though his fans were still speeding along in a shock.

“ Moonie —!! Don't scare me like that ! What if I accidentally -

still just a little bitter that he'd been startled so badly, especially with the embarrassment that meant knowing that Moon had heard his statement.

He continued on, trying to ignore his fans spinning up to -
