The decline of beauty in everyday life shows up in even the smallest things, like tickets, where we’ve let our obsession with efficiency win out over personality and artistic expression.
Like the ticket from the Guggenheim Museum in New York, which I've shared in the first photo. It's an iconic building that could have so easily inspired a beautiful ticket design, but they opted for the most economical option instead.
Each example of this decline isn't a big deal, but the world becomes less charming and enchanted when people stop caring about craftsmanship.
For some alternatives, scroll through the photos. The second one shows old Japanese train tickets, the third one shows an old circus ticket, and the fourth one is a World Series ticket from 2002, which felt magical when I got to hold one as an eight-year-old.
So yes, there’s definitely been a decline. And maybe we’re okay with it! But it’s worth remembering that this decline isn’t inevitable. There is another way.
The girls don't own boutiques anymore, like. Think about it. The most #fab bitch you knew had a brick-and-mortar boutique store her man was paying the rent for, and then when social media popped off, the shit went digital with them IG Boutiques.
Generational curse breakers… we absolutely HAVE to get in shape. It’s imperative. Everything relies upon it. From reclaiming your stolen glory that causes you to feel insecure, doubtful, uncomfortable in your own skin, to rewriting the narrative that your abusive care givers set out for you - to be lazy, tired, and constantly hiding. Reject and release the body that they made for you. Sculpt a new one in entirety that now reflects your TRUE destiny.
En qué momento permitimos que el horroroso beat del reggaeton se apoderara de la música pop latinoamericana, antes solíamos tener himnos pop como este, todo tiempo pasado fue mejor
i do not procrastinate. i always have a proper schedule. i follow through. i finish what i start. i always have more than enough time. i make consistent progress each day. 🧘🏻♀️
I dated a man so inspiring that he made ME feel like wow I gotta step my cookies up. He had like everything I was looking for in a guy but we don’t talk anymore and that’s fine bc I did in fact step my cookies up afterwards and I’m better for the experience.
PLEASEEEE date a man who believes in romance and a provider mindset. Like holding doors open for you, buying you flowers, writing you love letters, courting you, treating you gently, planning surprises for you, and honouring your heart in every way he can... YOU DESERVE ALL THAT
In case you forgot, we live on a planet where lightning turns sand into glass, dolphins give each other names, the ocean glows in the dark, and rain has a scent before it falls. You stand here with a beating heart, a steady moon above, and a world quietly, absurdly beautiful.
