@BigMeanInternet But even in cold climates, you can grow dwarf varieties in greenhouses warmed by thermal pollution produced by power generation, industry, & large scale composting. So not only can we have banana, we can have banana while helping to solve capitalism's massive waste problem.

@BigMeanInternet FWIW this works best in warm climates. Bananas reliably fruit outdoors in CA, FL, AZ, and the warmer parts of the Gulf Coast. But their growing zone is expanding hundreds of miles north due to climate change. By 2100 they will be a viable crop in much of the Southeast.
