still can’t believe i did this in under a year 😳 ✊🏽
granted, i created a life by growing him inside of my body for 9 months which was the most beautiful experience of my life so far but i’d be lying if i said i wasn’t worried about what i was going to look like after and how long it was going to take me to “get back to me” … honestly snap back culture is insane but we’ll talk about that another day
anywhoo i got super depressed after having my son and hated the way i looked and felt in every aspect.
i had built this woman i loved from scratch before i became pregnant and i felt l like she just crumbled right before my eyes (in a good way) and all the physical work i put into her went crumbling down with it too
i’ve gained and lost in the past but this is completely different so i didn’t know what to expect going into it but i knew what i was familiar with and what i had seen results with in the past and that was pilates and consistent cardio
right after i had my everything i would go on 2 hour walks with him around the neighborhood to get my body prepared to slowly get back into heated mat pilates
then after 2 months of consistent walking every day i started back up on my pilates journey then my friend took me under her wing as a pilates instructor and it’s been a wrap ever since
we came together and created @solbodywellness from a place of wanting to create space and community for people who’ve felt the same way we had and still do while on this journey called life
it’s not just about being a mom but it’s about being a human and dealing with all the changes that come at us daily and how we react and process these things
it all starts with the mind, discipline, routine, and everything else follows 🌀✨🫶🏼
