I’m sorry, but I had to take this opportunity to speak up.
Please don’t take my opinion or the way I’m venting as something negative. I’m simply sharing my perspective.
Since we’re discussing management, BINI, and Blooms, I’d like to share something.
I am a Bloom myself, and I’ve attended several of their events: Grand BINIverse, Grand BINIverse: The Repeat, Fun Run, Aurora, Homecoming, and most recently, BINI Signals.
I know that’s not as many events as some other fans have attended, but through those experiences, I genuinely felt how Blooms are sometimes being disrespected not just during events, but also in terms of the effort, time, and money that fans continuously give.
I really hope I’m wrong, I truly do. Maybe it’s just me, but sometimes I feel like management has planted something in the girls’ minds. I rarely hear them ask things like, “What about the fans who can’t afford it?” or acknowledge those who simply don’t have the financial means to keep up.
Nowadays, almost everything seems to involve money. It’s becoming more and more obvious how management is trying to maximize every opportunity to profit from BINI’s popularity. What I miss the most is the BINI I supported when they were just starting out.
I miss the reality shows, random Kumu lives, genuine interactions with fans, buskings, guest appearances on variety shows, and the little moments that made us feel close to them.
Now, the girls have become much more difficult to interact with, and it feels like almost every opportunity to see or connect with them comes with a price tag.
Sometimes people wonder why fans crowd around them whenever they appear. While I’m not trying to justify that behavior, I do understand where the excitement comes from. They’re so rarely accessible now that every chance to see them feels like the only chance. I just wish management could find a better balance between protecting the girls and still allowing them to connect with the Blooms who have supported them from the beginning.
Not everyone can afford merchandise. Not everyone can afford concert tickets. Sometimes it feels like every move is designed to make fans spend more money, as if the group isn’t already earning through views, streams, engagements, endorsements, and other projects.
Even a simple livestream would mean so much. But please, don’t turn every livestream into a selling session. Livestreams used to be a way for the girls to interact freely with Blooms who couldn’t meet them in person. Now, they often feel like another opportunity to sell products.
I hope no one takes this personally. I truly love my girls. I love BINI, and I will continue supporting them. I’ll still attend their concerts whenever I can. But I won’t be supporting merchandise, subscriptions, or other paid content anymore because, at this point, it feels like management benefits the most while fans are expected to keep spending.
This isn’t hate. It’s disappointment from someone who genuinely wants the best for both BINI and the Blooms who helped them get where they are today.
