Measuring your success to another streamer will derail your focus. Sure you can observe what works for other streamers, just understand that it may not suit you or your specific audience.

Keep talking. We get it, you're focused in a tense moment. If you're streaming though, you should be explaining the game and interacting with your viewers. Sometimes viewers just want to lurk, that does not mean you stop talking.

Do not look at stream analytics during the stream. Just don't. You'll stress yourself out over the smallest change in viewers.

Setting dates, times, and content will build regular viewership and allow you to know your community better. Changing things too often/quickly is similar to an incomplete experiment, you end up with insufficient data.
It is pretty wild to look at our growing list of 300 streams and have this feeling that we've only just begun.
