Earlier this year, @Blashernaandez1, @FluckThisGame, and I traveled to Chattanooga as part of the 50 Veterans in 50 States campaign organized by @itssozer to surprise Marine veteran Jimmy Grimes and share his family’s story.

Jimmy served our country in Afghanistan, became a police officer, and started his own plumbing business to build a better life for his family.

Then his young daughter was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

This weekend, she passed away.

No parent should ever have to experience that kind of loss.

If you have a moment today, please keep Jimmy and his family in your prayers.

This is why we tell veterans’ stories. Not for clicks. Not for views. Because the people behind them matter.

2: Points out all the same think, simple minded people that don't understand cultural or societal evolution.
