โwhat happened in 1941โ this โsmth romantic happened in 1941โ that. please fill me in on what happened between 537 and 1601 because the jump from โweโre not having this conversationโ / throwing hands in disappointment and โtheyโll destroy youโ // โyes, alright my treatโ is insane
btw if we let good omens fandom die, it means he won. he did it on purpose and I refuse to let him. I will continue to show up, perceive art, share love, read fanfiction, be in my community in any way I can. I adore you and nothingโs gonna change that
good omens 3 is basically what would happen if no one communicated properly and humans were completely helpless against the forces of the universe they used to defy on the daily by being fundamentally human oh and itโs important that a queer character accidentally odโed
one of the strong candidates for my โscenes and plot points were rewritten by him malevolently to harm the characters and the viewersโ conspiracy theory
#go3spoilers
this scene pissed me off so bad? the way aziraphale demands to be forgiven? "I NEED you to forgive me but I won't actually explain myself and address your feelings"
the dance moment is so unfunny too
and this fuck ass "I didn't... (catch it)"??? this is so ooc omg
@IAteMyApple oh I think a couple of years. they were coming down from the adrenaline rush and started breaking down a little (cue demonology and aubrey thyme), then they were idiots about confessing still because duh, then they finally talked (cue maggie and nina in different circumstances)
you know how in the finale of grace & frankie frankie got depressed and was ready to die and that lead to them meeting a deity and then grace convinced her life was worth living and they lived happily together? yeah thatโs what we couldโve had on good omens 3
@smithereeen4@notwithhaste__ and even with all that, of all angels uriel was the most likely candidate to lose their mind from responsibility. michael was repeatedly shown in s2 to be incompetent and power hungry
@smithereeen4@notwithhaste__ this is not necessarily what I mean. the escalation I get, the resolution I donโt. they were alone, they hurt their kin, the โhelpโ was too little too late, they killed themselves and the narrative never let them be brought back / redeemed / healed
I could buy that memory loss for ineffables was always planned, I could buy so much but I will never buy that yehoshua wasnโt going to confront god/gain more agency and that michaelโs story was supposed to be this tragic. NEVER
