@earlofsandwich Here’s the Downtown Disney EoS menu as of 3:50pm on February 4. Would be really great to know before waiting in the looooong line that those sandwiches aren’t necessarily available.
@redrobinburgers Chose RR for dinner tonight because we had a 25% off promo for gourmet burgers. Get seated only to be told they’re having system issues & can’t do gift cards or rewards. Would be nice if patrons showed email that RR could honor it. Not good for business.
@AmericanAir@IGGYAZALEA They’ll probably follow up the way they do with anyone else who contacts them after being stranded by their mistake. Official corporate response: 🦗🦗🦗 Learned my lesson this past Feb to never fly American.
Never EVER flying @AmericanAir again. You’d think when they have a plane full of people connecting with a narrow 30-min window, they’d not force everyone to gate check. Oh, and maybe tell the other plane to, you know, wait for all of us. Thanks for leaving us stranded.
@ScholasticClub Website has been showing “longer than expected shipping times” warning. Any ballpark idea we can tell parents? Used to be 1-2 weeks. Is it like 2-3 weeks now? 3-4? Thanks in advance 📚❤️
I just completed the funding for a first grade classroom in CA and it makes my day. How is your day going? #Helpingteachers on DonorsChoose. Help a classroom in need today. https://t.co/611sPuQbUQ
It’s the #filleveryshelf campaign on DonorsChoose. Nothing is more amazing to see than a ton of people pitching in to help teachers & students get access to quality literature. ❤️📚❤️📚❤️ https://t.co/RjawFnh8EM
I think everyone could use a lighthearted/happy story right now so here goes:
At the beginning of the pandemic I went through some painful personal stuff and would often go out at night for long walks because no one was around and I couldn’t sleep anyway. One night I was walking
Distance learning silver lining: we get to hang out with our pets each day! (And they often make cameos on Zoom). So for day 6 of @Newsela’s #12DaysofGoodNews challenge, we read a wonderful story about Tierra de Animales. And here’s a pic of my furry adoptee from Mexico. 🐶❤️
From last week... On the 4th day of @Newsela’s #12daysofgoodnews, we read about classic toys + games. We used the “waterfall” chat strategy to flood our chat with responses. I recorded the waterfall with my phone, but it’s now nowhere to be found. Oops! https://t.co/kVFw04ETWn
It’s day 5 of @Newsela ‘s #12daysofgoodnews challenge and I’ve already fallen behind posting about our articles. 🤦🏻♀️ The end of the quarter for my admin program was 🤯. Posts coming...eventually. In the meantime, today we learned about Norway and benefits of open-air living.
It’s day 2 of @Newsela ‘s #12daysofgoodnews. Animals are definitely a hit during distance learning, so how could we not read about a rat that detects landmines? https://t.co/UjrvZxlcl7
2020 + distance learning have been HARD. Anxiously awaited #12daysofNewsela and love it even more now that it’s #12daysofgoodnews. 💙🙌 Thanks @Newsela !! (We weren’t sure it was happening this year so we chose our article yesterday, but are so excited about the text sets).
