My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery.

Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.

He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.

I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.

He is a true hero.

His valour helped save hundreds of lives and avert a great tragedy.

Distributed compensation cheques to 57 farmers and affected households, amounting to nearly ₹20 lakh, through Chettinad Cement for damages caused by heavy rains due to the cement factory railway bridge in Sangem Kalan village, Tandur Mandal.

Along with the local MLA @ManoharReddyINC gaaru and leaders from all parties, we ensured the affected families received the compensation.

The incident occurred 11 months ago. I had personally visited the affected fields and raised the issue with the management, demanding compensation for the affected families.

Beyond politics, our responsibility is to stand with the people and ensure justice for those affected.

Thank you to Chettinad Management for extending the compensation.

After enduring 13 months of terror of Nizam and Razakars, it was on this day in 1948, following Operation Polo, Nizam surrendered and Hyderabad State fully integrated into India.

Unfurled the Tiranga at my residence in honour of this historic day.
