An underdeveloped state that has suffered a lot from insecurity reveling in the thoughts of voting the people who caused their backwardness. A mediocre post. A hopeless situation
I woke up this morning feeling a little down and all I could remember was Bishop Benson Idoha’s sermon and I just muttered, “GOD HELP ME”.
I don’t know how many of us are feeling down and lost this morning, God will help us all 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
For one full year we argued on this street that there is no Christian genocide in Northern Nigeria.
Within a single day, a young man released a video of paramilitary-style training where young Muslims were being groomed to chant “Mass Genocide” against Christians in the Southeast.
That same week, Sheikh Yahaya Ibrahim Masussuka, one of the few scholars who consistently preached against insurgency, was assassinated.
Months earlier, Ibrahim Danshagamu publicly begged the Kano government to protect him after members of the Izala movement allegedly threatened his life. That same week, he was killed in his bedroom.
Today, some elders of the Izala movement stand with a young man being trained to hate his fellow human beings. On this same street, members of the same movement celebrated the assassination of Sheikh Masussuka.
If the Federal Government does not immediately proscribe the Izala movement, arrest clerics promoting extremism in Northern Nigeria, and release Sheikh Abduljabbar Nasir Kabara to continue deradicalisation work, this country is heading for disaster.
We will one day wake up to a fully formed Al-Qaeda-style network in Nigeria. At that point, even Somalia will look safer than Northern Nigeria.
"Collect their money and do them Osun Osun. All their governors, party leaders and the senate president were in Osun but the governor won hands down even without having any structure. They brought rice and money. The people collected and still voted against them."
Hausa woman charges fellow women to vote against APC.
Harry Kane stayed in Tottenham for YEARS, worked and got NOTHING, won NOTHING and probably didn’t ever think he would matter at any point. He left for Bayern Munich and won the Ballon D’or, just like that.
You are important and valuable. You are just not in the right place yet.
Today, I was honoured to join our Presidential Candidate, His Excellency Peter Obi, and other distinguished leaders at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting and the commissioning of our national headquarters.
These events mark important milestones in our shared mission to build a strong, united, and progressive political movement.
Our gathering reaffirmed our collective commitment to purposeful leadership, internal democracy, and a people-centred approach to governance.
At a time when Nigerians are yearning for security, economic relief, jobs, and greater opportunity, we must rise to the moment and present a credible alternative, one that restores hope and places the welfare of our people first.
As we strengthen our party and look toward 2027, I remain confident that with unity, discipline, and a clear vision, we can build a Nigeria in which every citizen has the chance to thrive. - RMK
To those asking what happened and why I have now declared my hope in Peter Obi, let me explain…
I casually said to my father that Peter Obi, Tinubu and every other politician were all the same. I honestly believed there was no real difference between them.
My father spent almost an hour explaining the political situation under Tinubu and what governance was like in Anambra State under Peter Obi. That conversation opened my eyes to something I had failed to understand.
I realised that while no politician is perfect, not all leaders are the same. There is a difference in their priorities, their approach to leadership and the importance they place on the lives of ordinary people.
Sometimes, like me, many make the mistake of saying “they are all the same” because we have been disappointed too many times. But after the talk with my father, I began to understand that the differences can be much deeper than we think.
For me, Peter Obi represents a different kind of hope. I am not saying he is perfect or that he has all the answers. I am saying that, based on what I have come to understand, I see a meaningful difference between his record in Anambra and what Nigerians are experiencing under Tinubu.
And that difference matters!!!
When people are struggling to eat, when families can barely survive and when ordinary Nigerians are losing hope, leadership is no longer just about politics, it is about humanity and about whether the people in power truly understand the suffering of the people they lead.
That is why I no longer believe that all politicians are the same!!! And I hope that you do too!!!
I would rather support a leader I believe offers a better path than be extreme and believe that every option is equally bad!!!
Peter Obi may not be perfect, but in the eyes of any objective person, he represents a far lesser evil than Tinubu. And sometimes, in a country that has suffered so much, recognising the difference between two choices is the beginning of hope!!!
That is what changed my mind and that is why I have chosen to believe again.
A better Nigeria is POssible!!!!
This is how stupid our people are. And it’s most of the population
I am selling rice for N1,000. Rice is essential for everyone to eat. Everyone is buying the rice. Suddenly a new producer comes and says rice is now N10,000. You complain and groan. He now goes “Ok I will give you loan so that you can afford the N10,000 rice”. You now jubilate and say “This man is trying. He cooked with that loan for me to be able to afford rice”
This is the tale of NELFUND.
This video is for every man striving and grinding on their own with their full potential.
Make sure you also practice self preservation as people will move on without you.
Eventually we all have to get involved in politics.
Our Children deserve a lot more.
Most of us are parents and we don’t know the future we would leave for these kids if we don’t actively participate.
