What if peace isn’t distant or complicated, but found in the way we greet a neighbor, listen without judgment, or choose kindness over indifference?
@solmenss, Communications Assistant @UNDPGhana, adds her voice to the staff Peace Day campaign highlighting that, respect and unity are the building blocks of a more harmonious world.
By embracing each other with kindness and standing together in solidarity, we are able to foster a culture of peace where everyone feels valued.

“During this training, I realized that there is not a single woman representative from Sissala West. If this continues, it will only deepen the gap in women’s participation in governance and decision-making at the district level. With the knowledge I have acquired today, I am committed to advocating for greater inclusion, ensuring that women in this district have a seat at the table. This is essential for sustainable development and for empowering women to contribute meaningfully to our community’s progress” noted Hon. Abdul-Kayum Kobzie, Aseembly man for Fielmuo in the Sissala West Distict in the Upper West Region of Ghana during our gender responsive planning and budgeting training.
Our Resident Representative, @banniloy, has met with @samgeorgegh, Minister of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations, to reaffirm @UNDP's commitment to supporting Ghana's sustainable development.
From enhancing digital infrastructure and AI-driven innovation to empowering MSMEs and fostering digital entrepreneurship in key sectors such as agriculture, eCommerce, education, and health, our partnership would unlock new opportunities for sustainable development.
