Mike Bamiloye, you identify as a Christian yet many of your movies consistently portray Ìṣẹ̀ṣe in a negative light, often depicting it as evil or demonic. For years, such portrayals have contributed to the misunderstanding and stigmatization of Yorùbá Indigenous Religion(Ìṣẹ̀ṣe).
Times have changed. Many people are now educating themselves about their history, culture and heritage. They are beginning to understand that Ìṣẹ̀ṣe is not the evil it has often been made out to be.
We, as Oníṣẹ̀ṣe, can no longer remain silent while our beliefs, culture and traditions are repeatedly misrepresented. Respect our faith just as we respect yours.
If you wish to produce movies about Christianity, focus on Christian teachings and beliefs. Leave Ìṣẹ̀ṣe alone. Leave Yorùbá culture alone. Leave Yorùbá traditions alone. Leave Yorùbá heritage alone.
Ìṣẹ̀ṣe is not evil. Ìṣẹ̀ṣe is not demonic. Ìṣẹ̀ṣe is not the devil.

This is DV!!!
So many men go through this in their marriages and suffër in silence because they’re afraid nobody will believe them.
This woman needs to be arrestëd!
Here we go again with the same stupid, tired propaganda.
Mount Zion and others need to understand that the era of demonizing Yoruba culture and spirituality is over. People are educating themselves now, and these old narratives will no longer go unchallenged.
Respect your faith, but stop turning Yoruba culture into the villain of every story.
For over three decades, films like this have profited from portraying Yoruba spirituality as evil while presenting foreign religious worldviews as inherently good. Yet many of the social problems facing society today clearly weren’t solved by that propaganda.
Mike Bamiloye built a successful career from this formula, moved his family abroad, and now returns to sell the same story again. The difference is that people are now asking questions, and many are no longer willing to accept these portrayals without scrutiny.
If you are travelling on the road, always watch from a distance before getting close to any checkpoint.
Real military personnel usually wear complete uniforms, boots, helmets or headgear, and other military gear. But looking at the picture I posted, you can see that some are not wearing boots, look at some of their hairstyles, and the way they are dressed. That is why you must be careful. Bandits and terrorists can dress like this and try to deceive people.
If you notice people dressed this way on the road, tell your driver to stop at a safe distance and observe before moving closer. Do not rush into any situation.
Don't sleep all through the journey. Be security conscious and help your driver observe the road. There are things he may not notice immediately because his attention is on driving. If you see anything suspicious, quickly call his attention to it.
Also pay attention to how people at a checkpoint behave. Real security personnel usually know what they are doing and carry themselves professionally. If something doesn't look right, be extra careful.
Always let your family or friends know your route before travelling. Keep your phone charged and avoid unnecessary arguments or confrontations if you find yourself in a suspicious situation.
Many people only become security conscious after something bad happens. Don't wait until then. Your eyes can save your life and the lives of others in the vehicle.
Security is everybody's responsibility. Stay alert, stay safe, and always be watchful when travelling.
What other signs do you think can help people identify a suspicious checkpoint?
It will soon be better.
