At 32 I was editing Papa Ajasco and Super Story, trying to become a director.
One night officers who had been drinking shot me through my car. I am 47 now. The hand is dead. I edit with my left hand for $10 and $20 so my children can eat. I won in court.
The police have ignored the judgment since 2015. The officer’s name is in their own report. Ayuba Philip ID 257745.
Please tag em until @TunjiDisu1 & @CspIniedu see this impunity. Thank you

This community transformer racket has to stop completely. It is daylight robbery disguised as community self-help, and the regulatory double standard is sickening.
Look at how the power sector works in Nigeria:
When a community transformer blows up, the DisCo goes deaf. You write letters, make calls, and nothing happens. Six months down the line, residents are suffocating in darkness, small businesses are dying, and fuel prices are draining everybody's pockets.
Out of sheer desperation, landlords gather, task every household 50k, 100k, or more, and scrape together 5 to 8 million Naira to buy a brand new transformer, buy heavy copper cables, and pay for poles.
The moment that equipment is energized, the DisCo claims it as company property. They add it to their network balance sheet, and within two weeks, they start distributing Band A and Band B bills. If you do not pay, they disconnect you with the ladder leaning on the very pole you bought with your own sweat.
How can a private, for-profit utility company take free capital equipment from struggling citizens, pay zero interest, give zero equity, and then charge those same citizens full price to use it?
If NERC mandated that customers who pay upfront for meters under the MAP scheme must be refunded their money over time through energy credits, why does the exact same logic not apply to transformers?
A meter costs 100k to 150k and you refund it via monthly energy units.
A transformer costs 6 to 10 million Naira funded by an entire street, and you pretend it was a charitable donation to a private entity?
This injustice has to end.
If a community is forced to step in and buy infrastructure because a DisCo failed its obligations, NERC should make automatic amortization mandatory:
Every single household on that street that contributed to buying that transformer should have their meter credited with monthly energy units until the full cost of the asset, cables, and installation logistics is completely paid back.
You cannot let private DisCos enrich their asset portfolios with crowd-funded community blood and then charge those same people premium tariffs for power. If DisCos want to own the asset, they must refund the people who paid for it.

Here is the message - The truth cannot be hidden
Last year my junior brother scored 306 in @jamb_hq. A score that should’ve opened doors, not slammed them shut in his face. He went ahead to apply for Medicine and Surgery @KwasuOfficial a course with 270-300 cut off mark. They refused him and didn’t even change his course or offer him any course in the related field. No explanation that made sense.
This year he sat for jamb again came back with 301 applying for Medical Laboratory Science. Same school. Same hope. Same fear. And once again the signs are clear they will snub him. SECOND BATCH ADMISSION LIST CAME OUT TODAY AND TO MY UTMOST SHOCK SOMEONE IN THE SAME GROUP WITH HIM WITH A SCORE OF 242 GOT THE SAME COURSE HE CAN’T GET WITH 301 because the real requirement is not the JAMB score printed on a slip. it is the ability to “buy a slot” CASH OVER COMPETENCE. CONNECTION OVER CAPABILITY.
@KwasuOfficial, how do you look at 306 and a 301 and still turn away a child who has done everything right? you are supposed to be an institution of learning. instead you’ve become another marketplace where DREAMS ARE PRICED and the HIGHEST BIDDER WINS. @.Prof.Shaykh-Lukman is this the LEGACY you’re laying down as the VC of kwasu? when i was there 2023, it wasn’t this bad.
@jamb_hq, you set the exams. you publish the scores and tell the entire nation these numbers matter. Then hand over the children to institutions that treat those numbers like decoration. What is the point of your CUT-OFF marks when the real CUT-OFF is the THICKNESS of the parent’s wallet or the STRENGTH of a godfather’s call? @profsegunaina is this the legacy you’d love to be remembered for?
And the government just sit and watch the education system turn into a shambles of corruption, this is a slow murder of hope. The pain is not only his. It is every parent who scraped together money for jamb forms and textbooks. It is the quiet rage of knowing the system is rigged and still being forced to play in it. You have made EXCELLENCE optional and CORRUPTION compulsory.
We are not asking for CHARITY. We are demanding that a 301 and a 306 mean something again. That a child who did the work is not discarded so that someone else's "slot" can be sold. That KWASU, JAMB, the government and other TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS stop treating admission like a black market commodity. @NigEducation@officialABAT@DrTunjiAlausa@OfficialNUC@NigeriaGov@profsegunaina@KwasuOfficial@jamb_hq
Instead of chasing these rats, go directly to the big rat
These iron and other materials are being sold as scrap to iron smelters
So go and regulate that: pass a law that they can’t buy scrap iron from unregistered individuals; they must also buy only 1kg minimum of scrap, and it must have a photo tag of what was bought and from whom
The Nigerian Commodity Exchange Commission is a figure head commission
I have never seen them do anything that support food producers.
Buyers will form a bargaining group, determine price for farmers, determine price for consumers.
And our exchange commission is nowhere to be found.
Imagine from the video, if any farmer says his produce is higher in price he's not going to sell because buyers already determined price even before he harvest his produce.
There are so many useless commission that the Govt needs to weed out... If we can't see your importance then you shouldn't exist.
Breaking: OLANREWAJU FADEHAN, the current Head of Examinations at the WAEC office in Awka, Anambra State, has openly acknowledged and confessed the many issues surrounding the 2026 WAEC examinations, including some of the factors that led to mass failures among students who legitimately sat for the exams.
We will get to the root of this. Our students, who have worked hard for years, deserve justice, and we will ensure they get it.
It is a big shame that WAEC has allowed these failures to put the futures of our children at risk.

@Loveth06872383 All the comments are coming from the measure of knowledge available to the people commenting. There are some positions for which you're recruited that can avail you the opportunity to negotiate your exit package.
I will leave it at that...
Maths is not just finding x and y . It’s the language of logic, pattern and structured thinking.
You can become a great accountant, lawyer, doctor , entrepreneur etc without being great at maths.
But if you master maths, it makes learning everything else easier
Mastering maths also doesn’t mean you should study maths at advanced level (I think you should if you can, explore quantum computing etc) , it’s rather about developing a solid grasp of its core from algebra, calculus to statistic.
The foundation is best laid early in primary education.
Maths is also fun 😂😂.
Let’s see if I can achieve my 2026 goal of 100 hours teaching maths in public primary and secondary schools this year. I’ve only completed about less than 10% so far. 🥹

I remember trying to protect my heart when I saw the videos of those kidnapped that were released. They look emaciated.
Guys, we have to sit with the discomfort and pain of talking about these issues. We can’t wish it away. We all have to continue to talk about it and fight. We have to continue to hold the government accountable. We must never let it seem like business as usual. You might think your contribution doesn’t count, but it does.
Ever heard of the ceramics class study?
So there's this pottery teacher who splits his class into two groups.
The first group, he tells them, just make as many pots as you can. I'll weigh everything at the end.
The second group, he says, just make me one pot. But it has to be perfect.
So, when it was time to grade, the best pots didn't come from the perfect-pot group. They came from the group that just kept making pots.
Group one was making pots every day, messing up, fixing it, trying again. They learned by doing.
Group two was just sitting there thinking about how to make the perfect pot. They barely made anything.
So the people who did more ended up being better. And the people waiting to get it perfect kind of stayed stuck.
I don’t know why people forget I am still a surgeon, since I got the NDC House of Representative ticket for Surulere 1. People call me Honorable and have removed the surgeon from my name, anyway Saturday I had endoscopic sinus surgery by 7am and by evening I became a politician
@Drweloveu All through my career people have been referring me for all the jobs I have ever had and I always make sure someone gets a job through me every year.
It's a privilege I always want to keep passing forward.
My high school math teacher Mr D was known for one thing.
He reused the same exam questions every year. Just changed the numbers. Everyone knew it. He also made a very big deal of collecting every paper back after we reviewed our scores so nobody could pass them to the next year's class.
Of course some of my classmates got their hands on a full set of tests from the previous year.
Within a week everyone had a copy.
Before every exam we'd sit together and work through every problem on the old test until we could solve them in our sleep. When the real exam landed the numbers were different but the logic was identical.
We thought we were geniuses.
Years later I became a teacher myself. Ran into Mr D at a funeral.
Me: I have to confess something.
Me: We had a copy of your old tests the whole time.
Me: Full set. Every exam.
Him: (smirked)
Him: Who do you think leaked them?
Me: (stared at him)
Him: Kids won't study if a teacher tells them to.
Him: But if they think they're getting away with something?
Him: (shrugged)
Him: They study all night.
Me: (stood there)
Me: (replayed four years of feeling clever)
Me: (we were never clever)
Me: (he played us perfectly)
Me: (I became a teacher and I still got played)
Me: (Mr D was built different)
The airline lost my bag for 72 hours.
They handed me a $50 “courtesy” voucher at the baggage desk and smiled like they’d done me a favor.
I kept the voucher. Then I opened my laptop and used a 1999 international treaty they never mention at check-in.
Total recovered: $1,650.
Here are the three legal weapons most passengers never know they have.
