@cryptogrit fr wish i could.. unfortunately circ supply fluctuates over time & isn't necessarily a fixed number, so if i want to track % of circ supply that has been bought back, i'd need to calculate it for each buyback
also wanted to address upfront the main limitation of this study, which is that i didnt have time to cover tokens with direct burn mechanisms e.g. eth bnb rndr cake avax hnt trx and probably many others - precisely bc there are too many & data is not easily obtainable for all
@booksey@coingecko thanks for flagging, my bad for missing them out indeed - will do an update & add them in.
(just so happens i'd compiled the list of projects doing token buybacks literally the week before aster did theirs, and the only info i saw then was they had it planned for q4)
@pumpdotfun @HyperFND 9/ anyway read the full article (for free) urself lol threading is so much harder than i thought wtf https://t.co/PbnfJCCLo8
feedback, questions, discussion welcome
pls lmk esp if i missed out any project, i did my best to be thorough but too many tokens out there yea
@pumpdotfun @HyperFND 8/ on that note, here's a list of token buybacks ranked by %share of total supply repurchased.
keep in mind that while $GMX has the highest share at 12.91%, this is buyback-and-distribute program whereby part of the buybacks are given back to holders.
