It would eat them alive, because they know it’s not beautiful all the way through.

That extra action, that excessive dalliance with the details may go unnoticed, but they culminate into a feeling that cannot be put into words. That is the recipe for the kind of excellence that is unlimited by circumstance of birth or by geography. It is the excellence that matches whatever humanity has to offer.

Excellence is the result of a genuine dissatisfaction that is triggered from within. The excellent listens to the voice of the inner man—he is called.
