"De-confliction" – that's what they called it?

The Arab world, after all, is trying to bring something here in order to stand by its principles. After all, what exactly are they – and what will prevent them from arming themselves to the marrow? Maybe some release from the thought that "the West" is arming itself to the neck against them – because if so, everyone is simply arming themselves against each other – and man is a wolf to man... until proven otherwise.

And yet – the world does prove otherwise – culture, civilization, mutual relations, some kind of public order... it comes and goes. Routine and its breaking. The changing of seasons. A day comes and goes. A generation comes and goes. The earth abides forever. And humanity, every generation anew, is amazed to learn that it remains the same thing... with or without spaceships and robots. In the end, everyone thinks about themselves, about their own place... and how protected they are, or prepared to defend, or what the story is there at all.

And if there is any chance at all... that someday a person will stop arming himself to the marrow of his neck every morning until evening – in details or in groups...
In the end, perhaps in the face of the collapse of the security of the dream and vision of the "global village" – and the complete disintegration of the nightmarish visions that were presented to us with various crude lies from all around – it is evident that the simple dream of this village – and that security – are still beating. And a little maneuvering of the ships – clarified its points – while the years, from time to time – develop.

This is the time to return to what I published at the end of last summer –
The Hemingway article from 1946... that same dream and vision of a civil society – which does not have to be only military – and which has a culture that also advances humanity beyond just that ancient conflict – and whether the arenas were officially split? That's what they want us to think... or is that what is worthy of succeeding at all – to reach redemption for the individual and the collective – and a better future for humanity?

After all... do we even desire forgiveness for humanity itself after everything we have been through as the Jewish people? If other peoples desire it... it seems to me that we do too. After all – we are no less human than the Swiss... that's for sure. That's for sure... but even more certain – we are a little less naive...
