Оказывается, для Европы неважно, поддерживаешь ты войну или нет, дружен ты с Путиным или выступаешь против него. В конечном счёте, похоже, гораздо важнее, сколько денег лежит на твоих банковских счетах.

Если ты богат, у тебя есть пара яхт и связи — санкции с тебя, видимо, можно снять без особых проблем. А если ты сбежал из России с нехитрыми пожитками из-за политического преследования или мобилизации, потому что не поддерживаешь войну, — тут всё иначе: тебе могут не дать визу, не открыть счёт, создать массу препятствий и фактически подтолкнуть обратно в объятия путинской системы. А заодно ещё и обвинить в поддержке войны.

Спасибо Европейской Комиссии за очередное напоминание о том, что в большой политике деньги по-прежнему говорят громче принципов, а судьбы обычных людей зачастую оказываются где-то далеко внизу списка приоритетов.
