I have to admit, that Antigravity 2.0 with the 3.5 flash model is really better than the 3.1 model.
With less than 10 minutes, it can write an acceptable piece of code. But the quota consumption is also quite impressive.
I don't know whether it's because the 1st day this function come online or what. But after some testing, it seems like the consumption for 5hr quota limit is quite fast.
If this is really not a bug but all designed for this, then I can think maybe Google is considering/implementing new strategy on token usage strategy. To drive ppl with huge amount of consumption to the AI Ultra contract, instead of staying in the AI Pro lvl.

Tried the fast version of Gemini 3.1 today and wow, the hallucinations are seriously strong… It didn’t have a clue that Antigravity is already out. Kinda let me down a little, to be honest.
Today, my wife will come to Wuxi together with my mother-in-law. The two of them plan to stroll around the mall first, then pick me up at the project site later in the evening to head home.
Tomorrow morning, I still have a team meeting with another client to get through. That said, things are gradually winding down now. With Chinese New Year approaching, the house has already started preparing all kinds of New Year goods, and on WeChat Moments, everyone is beginning to share their travel plans and holiday outings.
If Seedance has already reached this level by early 2026, then the entire video production industry is going to face a complete, game-changing transformation in the years ahead.
I originally thought this week would be a bit more relaxed, but unexpectedly, the entire project team went over the PPT yesterday, and we didn’t finish until 10 p.m.
Yet when I woke up this morning, my body surprisingly didn’t feel very tired. The weekend is finally here—I can finally go home and spend time with my family!
The US small nonfarm payrolls data has been released, and the figures are not impressive. However, in my personal view, this is not the sole reason for the decline in US stocks today.
A few days ago, I slightly increased my position in gold ETFs, and over the past couple of days, I have been mostly observing rather than acting. Whether it’s base metals or US stocks, the market is currently in a rather tangled and hesitant state, and it’s unlikely to show optimistic performance in the near term.
In the current market environment, the neutral-to-slightly-bullish scenario would be: a narrowing of volatility with oscillation within a range; while the pessimistic scenario is hard to predict clearly.
Today my Honor X70 received the MagicOS 10 system update. After upgrading, I noticed some slight changes to the screen-off display, and the new system icons look a bit like the new iOS style, though I personally don’t like them very much. I’m still undecided this year about whether to switch to another Honor phone, because in terms of system smoothness, the other two phones I’m currently using — the Redmi K90 Pro Max and the OPPO Find N5 — feel better to use.
Today my wife went to Shanghai with my mother-in-law. My wife has always loved watching gorillas. Today the two of them saw gorillas, and they sent me a lot of photos from the zoo through WeChat: lizards, orangutans, dolphins, giant pandas, and so on. The two of them headed to Shanghai in the morning and kept playing all the way until the afternoon. Even through the screen, I feel happy for her.
