Expelled TMC MLA Ritabrata Banerjee arriving at the state assembly with 59 rebel MLA signatures is not a routine rebellion. It is the sound of a rotten political structure cracking from inside.

It will be the logical end of a party built without ideology, without inner democracy, without civilisational conviction, and held together only by minority appeasement, syndicate power, fear, patronage, violence and power.
