HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. The film struggles to keep you engaged. Only a few sequences work, while even the action blocks fail to create any excitement. The poor VFX only make things worse.

#Vijay is in terrific form and commands the screen whenever he appears, but that’s not enough to save a half weighed down by outdated writing, forced scenes, and sluggish narration. Overall, it’s a real test of patience.

The second half now has a huge responsibility. It needs to deliver in a big way.
