I'm on a mission to change the world, running a nonprofit that helps foster and at-risk kids. I am a: maker, 3D printing geek, foster parent, nice guy.
Listen, I'm going to change the odds for at-risk and foster youth in my city, and maybe eventually yours. If you want to know how, you can join my mailing list here: https://t.co/phr1AoHKnD
@SpotifyCares Spotify for podcasters won't let me see anything other than the home page for my podcast. When I click on analytics or any other link, it tells me only the owner can do that.
@joeltelling@FedEx@BambulabGlobal My daughter is disabled and has a feeding tube. A couple months ago FedEx basically threw the boxes of her food in our driveway. An entire case of food broke open and was ruined. The rushing around FedEx does is destructive and can be life threatening in the wrong circumstances.
@smartereveryday I started a nonprofit that teaches stem skills to undeserved youth 4 years ago. This year it has really begun to blossom. It's exciting!
@smartereveryday I love this. I run a little nonprofit Makerspace that, as part of our mission, teaches skills like these to underserved youth. It's an awesome thing to see young men and women learning these important skills!
@RebeccaStavick @DoSpaceOmaha Sure. Our little Makerspace isn't nearly the scale of Do Space, but we've gotten a lot of laptops into local kids' hands over the last few years. Shoot me a message here or reach out to [email protected] anytime!
@RebeccaStavick @DoSpaceOmaha Great news! My only suggestion would be to also give recipients online safety training. Our nonprofit has been giving tech to local families in Omaha for a while and we've seen a need for this. We're working with profs at metro to develop curriculum for this year's recipients.
@pleasantgreen And for the record, you're probably my favorite, because you give scammers a chance to be human again and do the right thing. That's a big deal.
@pleasantgreen The thing I love about the anti scam community is that it's a big table. I see so many different styles and methods of dealing with scammers, but at the end of the day, everybody's on the same team. Good stuff.
@The3DMisprinter@FedEx The FedEx response was to send me the same claims link with a one week turnaround that I had already found on Google. To be blunt, I'm disappointed.
Hey @FedEx. My wife was watching as one of your drivers was throwing a hissy fit while delivering our special need daughter's medical supplies. As a result of him literally hurling our boxes, two cases of her tube feeding food were destroyed. I'm beyond upset at this point.
@pleasantgreen Yup. The same goes for stuff like CDs, DVDs, and the like. Common mistake though. I used to do it all the time till an English nerd friend of mine showed me the way. ;)
